Swans vs Dogs: In-game hobnob (aka the game day thread)
I love Paul Roos but apart of me is happy he is going, we need to change our game plan. It doesnt work against, Collingwood, Dogs etc.. any team that plays with pace and puts you under pressure. Our players with poor ball skills turn over the ball too easily and are crap under pressure.
I don't think Longmire will change the game plan, though.
It seems luck is against us with injuries etc and having Razor and McBurney as umpires in the same game.
It's hard to watch, that's for sure. We look like a shadow of a team at present - a bit like the Bulldogs looked recently against St Kilda.
I agree with an earlier poster who said we're not linking up. There is no flow, but having so many team changes doesn't help in that regard.
It really is deflating. Before the start of the season it was all about excitement - but then we did too well and it became all about expectation - like it had been before. Even if we lost, it was the expectation that we were going to have a real crack - I don't have that feeling now, and the excitement is beginning to fade. C'mon Swans - fire up!
Yeah we don't even look like we are trying - same old same old - too fumbly, too slow and too hopeless
I was thinking that he needed more time there last week - at the very least he is a big body who gets in the way of the opposition - at his best he is sublime.
