Didnt have much opposition in the Rucking Department yesterday. RUCKED better again Sandilands than he went yesterday.

Presumably going better than the other options available to the match committee. Before yesterday the bombers duo were being hailed by many as the form combo in the league at present. Sure Hille went off prematurely, but they were getting towelled before then and Pyke was doing his bit.

He's cost us nothing being out there and I'm comfortable with him being out there for a good while longer. Seaby was still on crutches yesterday, so he's way off being back and if those in the magoos can't dislodge Pykey then we all need to cross fingers that Mumford stays healthy and the ruck depth doesn't get stretched any further.

This is true and the scenario has been forced upon us by the injury to Seaby. I think Pyke has improved alot this year but he still has alot to learn and we lose a bit when Mumford is off the ground.

Most clubs lose a bit when their #1 ruck goes off for a spell. If Pykey can hold his own and break even, he's doing just what's required. If he can beat his opposing relief ruckman, even better.

I would also like to see Currie get a senior game or 2 under his belt before the season is out, even if it has to be at the expense of the big Canadian

If he can earn a spot, sure. As much as conspiracy theories on RWO are good fun (and I'm not suggesting for a minute you are inferring one here, you just want Currie to get a game or two and certainly many of us would be interested to see him go round at top level) I doubt very much the committee keeps players out for any other reason than they think they aren't ready or haven't earned a spot. It makes no sense to keep players out who deserve to be there if they are playing better than a player who is in the team.

I'll give KirkysSocks the benefit of the doubt and assume that this is just trolling. If not, it is one of the most spectacularly stupid comments I've ever read on RWO. On this theory "a lot" of Melbourne-based Swans fans must dislike Tadhg and really resent his success. Just like Demons fans always hated Jimmy Stynes for taking to the game so well - that's clear in their reaction to him right up to today. North fans desperately want Majak Daw to be a miserable failure. And don't get Hawks fans started on that filthy Queenslander Jason Dunstall who came from rugby territory and achieved barely passable success. Personally, I always want Kieran Jack to fail because I hate the fact that this great little 10 year player we got at absolutely no cost has a rugby heritage. That really gets my southern blood boiling.

I can't tell you how filthy I am that Kieran Jack has turned out to be such a star and won our B&F. Man, it makes me angry. The fact that he is from NSW is far more important to me than the fact that he keeps playing great games for the club that I love.
