we just cannot beat the pies up here no matter what form or mood we are in!

LRT. Lord Roberts-Thompson. He may look like the Munster, but looks can be deceiving.
2012 Bloods Premiers. -
That said, Daisy has improved a heap this year and even in past years when he has been a soft downhill skier, he has always managed to pull out a big one against us. If the coaches want to go with him on Daisy, it will be a good matchup for sure.Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment

I thought Pyke showed real signs of becoming more involved in field play.(the main criticism against him)The learning curve of this guy continues to climb and you start to wonder how good will he be in 2-3 years? One measure would be a year ago we would have expected Jolly to take him apart. Now I am looking forward to their clash as Pyke has closed the gap a lot.How much? thats what we will find out!Comment

What Pyke did really well on the weekend was put his big body into the dangerous spots in our defensive 50. It seemed like he understood his role more this week and had real purpose. A similar positioning against Collingwood would go some way to stopping their tall forwards from ripping us apart if their rebounding midfield gets on top.Comment

Rubbish...The Wobbles aren't that good (ie Cats) and we're not that bad. We are a little quicker and have played more up tempo this year, I give us a good chance this time round. Swans by 17.Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MTComment

And I really hope Nick Smith ruins Daisy's night!Superman still wears Brett Kirk PyjamasComment

If Smith tags Daisy, who takes the very dangerous Swan, Pendlebury, Sidebottie, Dumbdak, Ball.
People have been bagging Karmichael Hunt for being big, what about Leigh Brown, his rear end is as big as the Queen Mary.
If someone has recorded the Demons and Mugpies game, can you drop if off at Driver Avenue, marked for the attention of one Mr P Roos. Although game is in the balance at this stage, they have gotten alot closer than we ever have.In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.Comment

Pies shocking in front of goal. With the exception of Brad Dick who has 3 I think they are current 7 goals 22 behinds! Ouch.
Dees are fantastic. Playing on, running it straight the middle and some excellent tackling.Comment
-
a loss by 1 point and a draw, could easily have been two wins for the Dees in their Collingwood games
Dees used their kick-ins as a launching pad for many of their scores, sadly I don't think we'll be emulating them in this respect.Comment
-
The draw is a pretty good result for us. Pies don't come into the match confident, but neither are they burning for revenge.
Jack head to head with Daisy
Kirk on Pendles
Shaw on Swan (Shaw won that battle convincingly last time we played, from memory)
Smith on Dids
Pies can worry about who to put on Bolton, McVeigh, Hanners.Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!Comment

While I think that is true from memory, Roos's hand was somewhat forced with a depleted midfield towards the end of last year. Given that Collingwood have a plethora of small nippy forwards I would guess Shaw would be needed to play on one of them.Comment

The Dick that is Brad (as opposed to Thomas and Didak) will need close attention. Shame about the break really as would have been nice to go up against them with questions over Maxwell, Didak and Ball.Comment
