Jolly: "Collingwood are bigger and better, oh and Sydney supporters have no passion"
There is nothing wrong with what Jolly said at all - no slag-offs, nothing sensational, all-in-all pretty boring stuff really.
Jolly played for Melbourne before the Swans, so he is really just making comments about life in with the black and white army, rather than anything anti-Sydney.
He was probably on the receiving end of that 'passion' at the start of the season as well when most Collingwood fans thought that he was playing below his best.
You think? Are you not as passionate as Collingwood fans? They have more supporters but I think every club has a mixture ranging from, passionate to interested, to not interested. My Swans mates are more passionate about their club than my Collingwood mates so it's a generalisation.
Just a throw away line from Jolly though.
It's how you choose to view what he said.
To me he is just saying that Collingwood has more passionate supporters than Sydney.
I agree.
Not Collingwood's supporters are more passionate, just that they have more passionate supporters than Sydney, which they do.
See?
lol

I have decided not to boo Jolly any more instead i will cheer him on because of how much better our team is since him wanting to be traded back to melbourne.... we got Mcglynn and Jetta with those picks and, also went after and, succesfully picked up a couple of great ruckmen who instantly filled Jolly's spot and proceeded to overflow with no signs of slowing down soon.
Strewth if it's not fair game to bag ex-players that have up and left you to join Collingwood of all clubs, then this Swans fans website thingy seems a tad pointless.

Oh I dunno..it's produced 23 posts in under two hours on a midweek afternoon!
I've said before I wouldn't mind Swans supporters being a bit more "feral". We are sometimes just too nice and quiet for my liking.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Do you mean throwing cups of warm piss, Collingwood feral (in which case I might need to find out where you sit at games so that I can avoid that general area) - or something else?

I do hope your joking Matty. Do I come across as that type to you???
I'm talking about more noise at games, more pressure on the umpires, in essence more passion from the home crowd. We show it sometimes and it's amazing when it happens. I just believe we don't do it often enough.

Yes, I was joking - or taking the piss if you will (almost literally).
I was actually hoping that you were going to come back with a list of what you considered to be on the extreme (or too feral) list for our supporters to live up to.
My mates used to just laugh sitting next to me when I would explode with a tirade of vocal support at games (particularly when we were losing). I am not as vocal as I used to be at the football - I once had a child sitting a few rows in front of me start crying after I let fly - nothing obscene - just loud really. I felt a bit bad after that (although his team did win the game / premiership).

I can so relate to that.
My daughter tells the story of Monday at school after dragging a few friends along to the big Collingwood game a few years back. All her friends were telling those who didn't go what an awesome night they missed out on.
"Why, didn't the Swans get beat?"
"Stuff the game, Casey's dad is hilarious when he goes off !!!!"
