We didn't miss LRT against Carlton because we smashed Carlton in the midfield. But against a team that matched us winning the ball out of the centre and used it 10x better, we were absolutely lost. Richards was completely out of his depth playing key defence in such a situation, even on the young Jack Watts, and what we wouldn't have given for LRT to play on Watts and float across, intercepting forward thrusts.
