    Home final

Looking very like a home final, esp after the Freo's percentage. Quick question does anyone know if Sydney get a home final finishing 5th or 6th what date and time.
I want to get flights from Perth. I want to book this weekend and happy to take the chance.
The top 4 used to play on the Friday and Sunday

They usually don't announce final times until the end of round 22.

Bugger - I thought tonight was Roo's & Kirk's Sydney send-off. Highly likely to be another week now....

As far as a home final is concerned, we're not quite over the line just yet.

If Hawthorn, and Fremantle or Carlton win next week, and we lose, we'll finish 7th or 8th.

If we beat Brisbane, we get a home final. Simple as that.

So let's concentrate on beating Brisbane for the time being.

Very true Cheer squad, but Brisbane have nothing to play for, several players missing and we have everything to play for. There will be plenty of Swans fans up there, and we should get the job done. A home final would be a great result for the year, and I think shows that we have made massive improvements over the last 12 months.

I hope the club tries every trick in the book to get it at the SCG. Its criminal we have to play at ANZ.

No chance of getting it at the SCG, contract in place.
If the pies beat the hawks its a done deal, home final. Pies will want to win to finish home away season on top of the ladder. Not unlees we get destroyed by Brisbane. Odds are strongly with us

I think you'll find that the granny is on 25th September.

our final will be at ANZ.

for all those NARF's who didn't go last year because it was raining AND at ANZ ... do us a favour and stay at home again this year.

A crowd of 19K who really want to be there is FAR better than a crowd of 80K who are sipping chardy and chatting.

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Pretty good chance of one of Freo or Carlton winning I would say...

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Essentially, to lose a home final now:
Sydney would have to lose to an unmotivated, 'mad Monday' minded, Jonathon Brown absent, Lions
                          AND
Hawthorn would have to beat Collingwood, where Mick Malthouse is presently pretty fired up with his players about the Pies 'cute' performance against Adelaide.

Odds of both happening? About 20/1

We won't have a home final at all. It will be at ANZ
