My prediction is that we'll be playing Carlton at ANZ on Saturday night, 4 September. We'll then play the Dogs in Melb in a SF, then onto a preliminary final against Geelong. The end.

Dimwit was saying it would be a Sunday final. Wgich as somebody who supports Melbourne Storm as well as the Swans seriously depresses me, as I want to get to both games.

What is the latest? Do the NRL have Homebush booked for the Saturday night?

Day finals in Sydney = lame. Especually at Homebush!

All the reports are that the AFL want to take advantage of the blockbuster status of the Top 4 teams being Victorian sides. So those 2 qualifying finals are set for night games leaving the bottom 4 to play in the day.
