Judd was the difference between a comfortable win for us and that result. He was outstanding. Glad we don't have to meet him again.

Kennelly wasn't great imo. Wasted nearly every possesion he got.

A mixed bag. I'm always nervous when he kicks in, just can't feel confident about him.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I gave Jesse a bagging at 3q time but let me say he redeemed himself in the last quarter with a couple of deft touches and I believe the handpass to ROK for THAT goal. McVeigh's last quarter was very good.

              Swans vs Blues Matchday thread

Can only now bring myself to type. The feeling after winning a close final like that is awesome. I can only imagine it is 100x better for the players.
              I love you kirky.

Gee that's hard marking. I thought in the third quarter he was the only one working hard to break the lines. He last quarter was very good.

I thought Ratten coached really well. The way he had the strategy to lock the ball in their forward line to stop our run nearly won them the game. Maybe the trip to Freo last week played into our hands in the last quarter.

Yeah Kennedy is a gun. Pyke's work around the ground is coming on massively, he was great in the last QTR. What a win. TDL, what a gun!

Huge play by TDL to chase down the Carlton player, lay the tackle and a goal from the boundary line from the resulting free.
Future is in good hands :-)

Moore's not doing enough though IMO. If McGlynn were fit he'd be pushing Moore out of the side. Teddy and Bevo r now making me feel like a jerk for bagging them so much. Bevo was great and Teddy's continues to play well

That was the game breaker, little man bringing down the big man, and then slotting the goal, just how cool is this TDL...

Yes, Judd was magnificent, his skills are amazing, and he doesn't try to do anything too cute which Adam sometimes does.

Depends on whether you call it a strategy or just our inability in the third quarter to get our hands on the ball at stoppages.

It's a very simple game at this level, win the contested football at the stoppages and generally you move the ball well and score well.

In the last qtr we again got on top in the midfield and were able to turn it around.
