Hear hear to all the above, especially the love to TDL. Oh my god, I wanted to jump the fence when he laid that tackle because I knew he would at least kick us a point, but no, he coolly slotted a six pointer and I was leaping for joy and nearly crying at the same time. Spud and co on radio had us run out of petrol tickets early on in the last and I almost agreed with them, but then a few fellas went 'na' and then the gods looked kindly on us and the crowd went ape-@@@@ and we got in front and held on. Have booked flights for next week, can't wait to scream myself silly at the G and live the dream all over again. Our boys did us proud, albeit the hard way!!Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.Comment

I am seriously stuffed.
Up and back in a day, met some from RWO'ers for the first time. Pity couldn't stay longer. One of the best day's I've spent at the footy. Thought we were gone. From where I sat, Kennedy, Smiffy, Pyke & Mumford were easily our best. Teddy went OK, Kennelly worries me, and FFS ROK get yourself fit. He's next to useless out there at the moment.
Voice is gone, the crowd was as loud as you will ever hear in that last quarter.
Looking forward to next week now.
Plane trip back, many very sad blues fans. Suck it up ya cap cheats!!! And, the pilot wouldn't let me hang the scarf out the window. I even mentioned the thread about scarf ettiquete. Some people have no ideaComment

Its 6.23am, and I am still stuffed after getting home, trying to watch the 4th quarter again, and crashing.
Its what I call a seat jump game. Jump up, goal is coming in, jump up, shreeeeek, arms waving, high 10 my mob, more shreeeeek, Syyyydney; my knees are shot. Its been years since we have had a seat jump game. I have no voice. None. Soothing tea is not helping. I feel content.
THAT's what the chant is about Marketing!
And now, Bless Kirky - had heart wobbles when he limped from the ground, felt better when he went into yoga pose.
Big Bless Joey, Blood Brother.
Big Bless Smiffy, No-one is going to call you under-rated, not if they have seen how you play your game.
General Macca was working fearcely - its not all about possessions, its also about organisation, and he is a good general.
Jesse - The Defensive Forward - he earned his keep, and more; he is not the usual forward, he is the bloke who crashes in, bringing the ball to ground and creating opportunities; and that mark! leave him be, he will get better and better.
Mumms - good lad, and his knee is not right yet.
BigMykePyke - every game he does more, something he hasn't done before; keeper.
AND I would like to say a big whoohoo to Hanners and co, who went around to the Carlton boys after the game, and made a point of speaking to the boys sitting on the ground. Well done.
TDL - big smoochie from me. He's one of the blokes Jesse is protecting, and my oh my, ..... and all with those delicate little hands!
Bevo, Ted, massive hard workers for us, its their attitude that matters, especialy when they had been relegated.
Next bit:
To those of you who think we can bring in Benny at this stage; if you saw his face you will know why he isn't playing. there was an interview with him, on the ground, but it carefully showed the left side, not his right side ... It takes longer than 3 weeks to mend a face fracture, even with plates in it........back earth people.Last edited by Primmy; 6 September 2010, 06:44 AM.If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

I know our midfield will be gun in a few years but yesterday we were smashed in the clearances, any way to fix this?"In some ways we?re less predictable to ourselves and sometimes that can be detrimental because we don?t really know where we?re going" - P.RoosComment

Fantastic effort yesterday, showed some real ticker when I thought we were doomed. AND I've got a leave pass to get down to Melbourne to see us bully the Dogs. Yeehaa!Comment

People are speculating about whether Hall might get rubbed out for that little jab on O'Brien. (Hopefully not - there wasn't much in it.)
But does anyone think we have anything to worry about? Specifically, might the MRP take offence at Jack lifting Judd up and dumping him into the ground?Comment

That was a marvelous tackle. I replayed it about 10 times.
Bloody brilliant.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Kizza had the ball and Judd tackled him. After the whistle was blown for the ball-up, Kizza grabbed the leg of Judd and lifted him up and back slammed him. If that is the case, they may look at it. (Gee, I hope the MRP don't read this board, they mightn't have even seen it...lol)
I reckon Shaun Burgoyne may miss a game or two at the start of next season for his 'Mummy' type tackle on Silvagni.Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment

BTW - what has Luffy done to be on crutches ? (and bring him back from the boundary into the commentary team instead of those Melbourne clowns). Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.Comment
