Any fans of a team with Dale Thomas playing for them would have a hide to call anybody else a 'pussy'.

(Disclaimer: I admit the above statement had much more merit 12 months ago...cut me some slack)

What does everyone call him on the field?
I thought I heard the Reserves players calling him Toddles a couple of months ago. I like it, and it rolls off the tongue very nicely. I use that, or the full name at full volume!
Superman still wears Brett Kirk Pyjamas

Bruce called him 'dead eye dick' last Sunday. I'm sure it would be quite humurous to hear a bunch of ladies calling out for 'dick' on Saturday night. C"MON DICK!!! WOOHOOO, YYEAAAHHH DIICKCCKK!!! TDL lining for goal.....C'mon dick, you can do it...you can do it dick, c'mon...c'mon dick...YYEEAAAAHHHHH!!!!!

Collingwood fans yell out that all the time....not since mid year though.

I wonder how those Pies fans are holding up, not having had dick for the past couple of months.....anyway, back to the drawing board.

I saw an article where he was referred to as the 'Burmese kitten'. I thought how can you call an AFL footballer 'kitten', you know, something soft and cuddly. Especially in a team with Bulldog Moore and Pit Bull Jack! Though on second thoughts if we already have a 'Mummy' I suppose a 'kitten' could be tolerated.

Just remember that whilst kittens look cute and harmless, they can strike in a second and draw blood very easily when you're not ready for it. I think Carlton found that out on Sunday...

Rhino, Bulldog, Gopher, Pit Bull ... now Kitty. And next year, the coach is a Horse. The club's getting quite zoological.

It has to be Penny or Penny Lane. That way you can also sing for him when he kicks a goal.

"Dennis-Lane is going to kick another goal
Carlton are going down a hole"

                      or some such.

We have started calling him the D-Lane. Or even better, UDL!

My daughter calls him Ninja (he sneaks up on you). It's stuck in our house.

                            Love that one!

I think we may need an official poll once we get a few more together.

The Cat. (Certainly not the kitten)
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
