Hoping to catch Mooney crying after the game Friday night and then ..... well it really doesn't matter so long as the cats are rolled.
Lateral thinking: Swans gone C'arn the pies

Or hopefully not the OP. But I'm certainly with Wardy in hoping to see teary Cam this weekend - hopefully being comforted by a teary Baz. Then Roo sooky lala trying to be gracious in defeat at the GF.
Like Satch, schaudenfreude has a lot going for it. Only second best feeling to victory.Comment

Look everyone hates Collingwood, undeniable. Still, I could not stand another Cats flag, their supporters just walking aorund with their smug smirks, saying " we're just too good, greatest team ever, blah blah" enoughs enough! the legacy must end. As for the Saints, well, where i come from ( South East Suburbs of Melbourne) Every third person is a saints supporter, Including about 50% of my group of friends. One of whom is a serial swans basher. Collingwood may be a pack of bogans, true, but, i dont mind those bogans winning because i wont be subjected to too much of their bogan celebrations first hand. If the saints won, I'd never hear the end of it.If the cats won, we'd have to put up with commentators and media typed getting all hot and sweaty talking about how great a team they are. So in conclusion, Pies for the flag! ( of course I'd rather the doggies win but that just aint gonna happen and i'd probly feel sick if they won, knowing we should have beat them)Comment

How anyone could possibly consider wanting Collingboganwood to win is beyond me. I hate Geelong fans as well for ther sheer arrogance, but I'd take them winning it before Collingwood. I wouldn't mind seeing the Saints win it, only as not only a Swans fan but also a Dragons fan in the NRL I know what it's like to crave a premierhip for a long time and get so close so often without winning it."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

I am in sticky situation. Evil stepmother (and I mean that in the nicest possible way) and offspring are all psycho pies supporters. She was up for my birthday and came to the Carlton game. Massive yelling out and supporting all the way, even though I didn't make her wear the hat. My stepbrother (MCC member) was vocally supportive on THAT night, in front of his friends and all. I have no choice, bloods is thicker than water, but don't tell anyone, OK?I'm not arrogant, I'm rightComment

All those years of being spat on at Victoria Park by the least sporting supporters in the world make it impossible to conceive!
They do not deserve a flag. They do not deserve the Vote. I would ban them breeding as well, but I suspect I am over-reacting.
ANYONE but collingwood please!Comment

No way, it's against my DNA to ever support the Pies. My 2nd favourite team is always the team that plays Collingwood that week. One of my mates is an annoying (aren't they all) Pies supporter and I love seeing the look on his face every year when Collingwood fails. I'm going for Geelong or St Kilda.Comment

Occupational hazards:
I don't eat animals since discovering this ability. I used to. But one day the lamb I was eating came through to me and ever since then I haven't been able to eat meat.Comment

Despite being eliminated by them in our last two finals seasons (those mongrel bastards!) I'm going for the Dogs, regardless of their likelihood of success.Last edited by cruiser; 13 September 2010, 09:20 PM.Occupational hazards:
