I actually have Collingwood as my second preferred choice for the Premiership. Geelong are my first. I know for most people those would be their last two choices, but to be honest, I think Geelong deserve it. They dropped the ball in 08, when they were clearly the best team in the competition, and I'd like to see them make up for it. I also like seeing any sort of dynasty. They are an absolutely fantastic team to watch and it makes me want to see them succeed.
As for the Pies, I hate them when we play (and inevitably lose to) them, but otherwise, I have no hard feelings. I've never reeeaaaally got the whole "anti-Collingwood" thing. Sure they're rich, sure Eddie is a dickhead, sure a lot of their fans are bogans, but firstly, there's nothing wrong with being rich, secondly, Eddie is just one man, and finally, some of the nicest people in the world are bogans. Besides which, they stood up for us when Carlton were trying to put us out of business. If it weren't for them, it's quite possible the Swans wouldn't be here. Sure, I like to rip on Collingwood a bit, but there's none of that deep-down hatred.
A Collingwood Premiership would hardly be ideal, but I'd rather it than a St. Scum flag. The Doggies just don't deserve it; I have decided I really don't like Eade, I DO like Aker (he's a tool, but he's an interesting, fun, refreshing tool; a world apart from the typical binge-drinking, womanising footy player tool, e.g. Fev), and I don't really like Brad Johnson. There's something rotten at the Kennel. Having said that, it would warm my heart a little to see Bazza win another Premiership, so they move into 3rd spot on my preferences, Saints last.
