    Swans'/Saints' Unsung Hero

A friend of mine just posted this on Facebook:

"Dempster- if he's selected this week- will have played one grand final for each 22.75 other games in his career.

    That's a bit nuts."

They would have to bring Baker back instead of Dempster. At least he has one premiership.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

      Go Seany, the unsmiling one.

Bas, Baker hasn't played for what 9 weeks, and Seany had a blinder last week. I trust the brains at St K are in working order.

I never really liked Dempster, he was always a bit spuddish to me, but christ, good on him! Brad Johnson must be fuming!
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Incredibly lucky to get into last year's GF team, played only 8 regular season games and none of the finals.

He's rated very highly by Ross Lyon and I can see why

He's a good ordinary player with pace and a massive kick who can play on talls and shorts

Let's not forget he's also really ridiculously good looking.

Former Lion Clark Keating would also have a pretty good strike rate.

I thought he lacked a bit in the pace of that game and the quick decision making needed .too long ago to remember specifics, just that was my impression.

I'll only remember him for that run which set up Tadhg's goal in the second quarter.
But yeah the dumpster, a very forgettable player.

And although i really don't like Jolly i want the Pies to win. My hate for the Aint's is stronger than i thought.

                          Yep.
Once tried to get him to smile, and it was like a creaking door.....nice kid/bloke though. Obviously persistent as.

It is nuts!! How many games have Brad Johnson, Nathan Buckley and Robert Harvey played collectively for no premierships? But then nobody said sport had to be fair.

Didn't Richard Hadley have a similar strike rate when he was at the Lions? (cannot remember which premiership he played in, 2003 perhaps)

But yeah, as I said in that thread on facebook, I think I could handle a Saints win. Pies playing great footy though.

Dumpster is a dud, plus he was the only player not nice to my little brother at a clinic a few years back, so i never liked him.
