Round 19 v Hawthorn, SCG.
BEST: O'Keefe, Jack, Goodes, Grundy, McGlynn, McVeigh
After a couple of very tough weeks, it was young Jack who sprung into action and was unstoppable in the first half. Where ever the ball was Jack was attacking it with great success. Heath Grundy was having the better of Lance Franklin, and Roughead was barely sighted. The swans smashed the hawks in the centre, and led by almost 8 goals at half time to set up a comfortable win. BUT the biggesst news out of this game, wasn't the rise of fame of TDL with 3 goals, but the almost goals of Jetta. One missed, one after the siren, until he finally kicked that monkey off his back with a banana goal. his first after 19 behinds!!
O'Keefe kicked 4, Goodes and McGlynn and Dennis-Lane 3.
Swans by 44.
10-9-0.

Round 20 v Fremantle, Subiaco.
BEST: Mumford, Hannebery, Jack, McGlynn, Shaw, Kennelly
With no Sandilands, it was expected Mumford would have a big influence on the game. He didn't let us down. While playing a major hand in carving out the swans win, it was his chasing in the dying minutes that resulted in a smother against 2 opponents that really stamped his mark on the game. Hannebery played the game of his life and it was fitting that he smother the Dockers final play of the day. McGlynn had been his usual hard at it, scroing 3 goals before face planting into Clarke knee resulting in a fractured cheekbone. And moving on from last weeks feat Jetta proved it was no accident with a piece of individual brilliance to score his 2nd goal. Dennis-Lane again proved a target up forward. Another epic win.
McGlynn 3 goals, Dennis-Lane 2.
Swans by 9 points.

I could use a new pair, I wonder where he gets them?..... On a serious note am I the only one who voted for Josh Kennedy. I'm glad the coaches valued him more than the RWO ers. As usual the flashy players get all the votes.Comment

And so y ou should Jewels. When you get a chance line up and have a chat with him and get one of "those" smiles, which will be vying for a Kirky Special faceoff in the very near future. flutter flutter. He adds charm to those looks. If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment
