Ever the optimist! I have seen no evidence that there is any change of policy regarding playing the kids. Don't you think Ted will replace C Bolts? Tiger will be replaced by Bevan. Mummy/Seaby by Mike Pyke and LRT we already have Reg at CHB and Andreas Everitt to come onto a flank. Where are the spots for the youngsters?

Exactly how old do you think Everitt is?
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Honestly I don't know but I am guessing he is with the Kieren Jack,Smith cohort rather than the Rohan,Reid ,Johnston, group. Not a youngster but not old either. I assume you are making the point that he is a youngster too. Maybe he is but my point is there may not be that much space for "youngsters" to fit into. That's all.

LOL !!!......getting back to Everitt, people here keep talking him up as if he is an automatic starter in the 22. I can see no reason at all why he would be ahead of Reid , LJ, Teddy, Bevo or anyone else who's been in the system for a few years. He was a straight swap for someone else who couldn't get a game either. His record as a player does not justify the adulation shown on this site.

Yes, would love to see Sammy Reid get a good run at it.

Has to be S Reid, he has not only shown promise at Brisbane, he was consistently the best at lower levels. Not dropping off like some of our others like LJ
                Staying ahead of the game...

                  I'd like a crack.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Not sure where u are getting the idea that LJ dropped off.

He had a pretty consistent year and no worse than Sam's. Our expectations may have been higher of LJ's than Sam's because he was a year older and an earlier draft pick, but on output in the seconds, there wasn't much between them.

Sammy Reid would be a great choice but he is behind the pack at present apparently. Shoulder preseason. Achiles issues.....so not sure if he is an immediate starter, but as Henry said, they didn't expect his development to be so rapid, so I would surmise that he wsn't originally slated for a major position even at this stage.

Andreys will have to earn his spot like all of them. There is a vast age difference between Spida and Andreys like about 14 years or so.

You probably take a better mark too. Just re watched the Freo game and he couldn't catch a cold.
