NAB Challenge Suns V Swans, Southport

With 18 teams in the NAB comp, you'd think we could go more than two weeks without playing the same team twice.

If variety is the spice of life I guess this is the sludge. Not happy Jan.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

We have been waiting a very long time for this. Watch out Suns, revenge is a dish best served lukewarm

Whilst it's not ideal for us, I think it's a smart move by the AFL- even in a different sport, Queenslanders like to stick it to New South Welshmen.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

No doubt we will get to play GWS the following weekend as the AFL further seeks to protect Melbourne clubs from travelling outside their state.

I'm shocked they're actually making Collingwood go to Perth next week.

Also, why would they have the Carlton v Adelaide match start at 4pm on a Friday? I would have considered going along to that game had it started at 7 or something; but, as I have a job, I would miss a good half of the game by the time I got off work and out to the park.

That's okay - hopefully the following weekend we will be playing the Giants again in my home town of Coffs Harbour.

There is a Challenge match scheduled here for the 12th March and the local paper is saying it is likely to be the Swans (god, I hope that is the case as I have already bought tickets).

On last nights performance with a team of young players, when their senior players come in to the side they will be competetive. No so the Eagles who supposedly had a strong side in, as they really struggled to shake off the kids.

                          I'd rather be playing Geelong.

Leaving for a week's holiday up to the Gold Coast on Thursday, thank you AFL! Don't think my wife will be as impressed
