Nah, I reckon Longmire has plans for Jesse. At the intraclub he looked noticeably slimmer and more "key-defenderish", one of the coaches (might have been Horse himself) hinted that White might play defence this year, and Longmire, as a former key forward, probably flinches every time he sees White try to take a grab. With Reid showing such great signs and Johnson working his way back into it (and having much better hands), they probably think White's best chances of realising his potential is in the backline. A crash course in defensive body positioning and spoiling, combined with already impressive size, strength, speed, athleticism and ball skills, and you've got a very handy KPD and rebounder.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

It is now raining - Swans lead by 27 - one of those soaking downpours where you are soaked in asecond or two

17 scoring shots to 6. That looks like dominance by the Swans, is that how it really is on the ground?

Yes, it is like that on the ground - Most of it is played out in our forward half. The few times the Suns have gone forward they have done something with it though - and that gives them a score of 3.3

Stopped raining for now - overcast conditions persist - it will rain again in the second half. Umpires back out-

Excellent news. Could it be time for him and Goodsy to be subbed ? Bigger fish to fry....
