Keep Jetta if it's dry, in the wet toss some big bodies in there, of course, you have to have them, and we don't, White has had a poor run, and to me although I realise Pyke did have a reasonable input last week, Seaby offers a bit more experience and can ruck with Mummy and swap between ruck and forward. Otherwise, start playing the young blokes, see what they got. This year is a bit of a write off really, may as well get some games into the younger brigade, so we can increase our depth

With Jack out, we will see either Merideth or Parker come in for him as we will need a specialised midfielder.
I reckon we are missing a forward at present who has that x factor, neither Bevan or Jetta (who is playing almost exclusively forward) have it, so it 's one of those for TDL. I reckon with Jack out that Jetta may get a repreive and play more in the middle on the larger oval.
Grundy back for Pike is the other one.
In: Merideth, TDL and Grundy
Out: Jack (inj), Bevan and Pyke
DST"Looking forward to a rebuilt, new, fast and exciting Swans model in 2010"

I think Jesse should stay - play FF only and keep Pyke rucking with Mummy. I thought on friday we lacked an extra runner, I would like to see Pyke subbed off in the last and bring the runner on Lamb or uncle. We have the flexibility if Reg comes back in with Mattner who can play tall or short.
Give Jesse a full game at ff with resting ruckman dropping into FP, we cant keep Moore and Bevan in the 22 has to be one or the other. Probably drop Everitt for LJ and we lose Jack for Uncle? and swap Bevan for TDL?
Cheers

How about this:- McGlynn into the midfield for Jack
- TDL into the forwards for McGlynn
- Grundy back at CHB, Reid back at CHF
- Seaby in for White
- Everitt would probably play well against his old mates, but leave him as sub for element of surprise
To all those people who waited 72 years to see a South Melbourne/Sydney Swans premiership HERE IT IS!!Comment

Seriously bad news! I think he's been our mid with the most forward-momentum this season. McVeigh, Hanners and Kennedy are gonna have to lift to cover him.

Interesting that in this afternoon's press conference, Nathan Gordon was the first name to come out of Horse's mouth when asked who may replace Kieren and/or changes to the side. Obviously not a like-for-like swap but Nipper's been getting the votes in the reserves. He named Luke Parker, Lewis Johnston and almost as an afterthought Brett Meredith.Comment

I'm not so sure about that Nich, Nipper also got a solid wrap in Maxfield's game plan preview on Friday so I would say he's definitely under consideration. Plus, Longmire was rattling off the names off the top of his head and there was no hesistation from him in throwing Nipper's name out there. Question is what role would he play in the seniors? Being an elite runner, a run-with role might not be out of the question.
It was interesting that he named Meredith because he's been underwhelming in the reserves IMO, and also hasn't been named amongst the best players in the reserves in their 3 NEAFL games so far.Comment
