I was wondering that. So it was pretty quiet in other areas too then? In the Members I felt afraid to stand up and yell out at any given time. Lovely stand. I can imagine during and Ashes Test it would be super but Saturday night wasn't a good way to lose my virginity.

Thanks ABM - we were relying on the radio on the night. The vid is much better!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Thanks Mate! Great to see it all in one clip. He looks good doesn't he?? Plenty to be excited about here I reckon. Must say though coming on as a sub late in a game can be flattering against tiring sides but I think we can see past that with LP. Great signing!

I know it was just a tiny moment in the game, but when Parker drills it to Reid I'm like jizzzzzzz!

            Our future is looking suh-weet!

              bang on !!!

The guys is calm on the ball, aggressive in defence and his lateral vision is awesome for a kid his age.

The play where Reid crashed the pack and Luke comes swooping in to pick it up, fakes to pass, could have kicked on a bad angle but spins back, hand passes to a fast Hannebery who kicks a goal........the kid is ready !!

Look...I normally stay calm and avoid hype but if this kid gets game time he's our next rising star nom. He's got the brains and get's his hands on the ball.

Yes , he looked composed and went ok - Lady Penelope must be happy

Special mention to Alex , the one-man instant nickname factory in Bay 7 and creator of "Habib" for Rhyce Shaw , for coming up with "Nosey".
I can't take credit for that one as Old Royboy has been calling him Nosey since he was drafted.

PS - i was trying to think of who Luke Parker reminds me of the most...............ie a young Michael Voss comes to mind but I think the closest match would be a young Sam Mitchell in his first yr or two of footy...........the appear to play a very similar style in defence and attack and physically look very similar

Sammy was interestingly no 36. pick in 2001 and Parker no 40. in 2010 !

                      Fingers crossed !
