Just on Kennedy, over the years players of his body type have always got better as the year progresses. A lot of it had to do with the fact that the grounds got heavier as winter set in which of course is not the case as much anymore with clearly superior grounds. There heavier stronger bodies just powered their way thru as the season grew longer and particularly the younger guys started to drop off.

Certainly last year Kennedy was far superior later in the year than he was earlier on and if those stats could be trimmed to the first 10 rounds last year, I'd suggest he would be ahead in 2011 at the same time of the year.

I based my thoughts around the fact the he hasn't seemed to have had a great influence on games like he did in the second half of 2010, with his better efforts being against the lesser sides. When I saw Stellation's stats I thought exactly as you have. He seemed to build up as the season went on in 2010, and one of the criticisms people had of him in early 2010 was inefficiency by foot, in the that he seemed to just kick without looking for an option and often turn it over.

If his effort on Saturday is an indication that he is moving into a similar phase as 2010, then we have a bonus for the rest of the season.

So that explains why the both of you are first in the ground and in a major hurry to get to your seats.

Very interesting article! It would be fascinating if we were to meet Hawthorn in a final. Unfortunately because we played so poorly in Round 9 we didn't really get an opportunity to compare the two game plans side by side.

I'm not in favour if dropping either AJ or Sammy (unless they need to be rested), could keep going on but I'll just frustrate myself, just glad the decision (and accompanying headache) is not mine to make
I can see Reid having a break at some point - not taking the marks he was earlier, just looks like a young fella who needs a rest at some point. Opportunity to bring LJ back in reasonably quickly too.

Not being aware of Joey's torso is as hard as... well... Joey's torso!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Joey = playing like a frikken champion!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Goodesy a bit unlucky surely? He was electric to start the game, a brilliant response to a couple of poor weeks. And how about Ted - you'd reckon normally towelling Jonathan Brown would earn you more than 3 points!
