IF more volcanic ash floats across and closes airports and IF teams can't therefore get to their designated grounds, the AFL has said it will declare the game a draw and give each team 2 points each.
Pray to the volcano gods, everyone....it's our only hope.

If we assume that Mummy is out, O'Keefe will be fine and Ted is injured () then we swap LRT to defence, Bring in Pike (if fit) to back up Seabs and Bring in Jesse-I'd like to add TDL to the forward line so maybe drop Jetta?

We were hoping to have a Bradshaw type in the forwards to help teach Sammy, Jesse and co but realistically that will not happen with GWS still looking-and paying $$$-for players, so that leaves us with the only real option of leaving Sammy, Jesse, LJ, TDL & Benny up front, instilling some confidence in them and knowing that we have to wait-this is not an overnight process-and that means not jumping up and down demanding their heads when they screw up, which they will, as it will be a steep learning process for them-however in the end we will have a tight strong forward team who will have had the benefit of learning together and will be able to play as a unit.

You're a bit tough there Scott, those outs have been very prominent in all our games lately...

I thought of that as I was writing it actually. I didn't realise it was graffiti. I always thought it had been written in a newspaper.

The most effective bit of advice would be: NO WIN, NO PAY.

                    That would motivate them.

The Missus and I are off to the big smoke for a weekend of fine dining and an MSO concert. I'm not even going to record it.

If Kennelly gets another game then we really need to look hard at Horse, the 2 rucks this week and first round and now carrying players on reputation?I cant recall Kennelly playing a consistent game in over a year, too old and slow,he shoulkd never have got in the team without dominating a game at reserves level, which he never did.If you cant at least do that at his age i cant see how he's meant to go well at AFL level. Now i know it's rarely the case that this happens but in Kennelly's case it should have been a prerequisite,a half back flank is as close to playing on the ball as you can get without actually being in the guts,no mobility, poor decision making, awful body language [hands on hips all the time]unfortunately time has caught up with Tadgh and he should do the team thing and retire like Schwass did years ago.Exact same situation for mine, just tried to go on a year or two too long.Any good rookies who we could get a game or two into?

                              In: White Bevan
                              Out: Richards (ankle) Mumford (susp)

LRT to full back, White to back up Seaby in the ruck. Bevan to bury those pesky Pies defenders into the dodgy ANZ turf.

and if ROK is suspended, bring Uncle Byron in.
