I dont care how good or close or honorable the loss was, It was our 10th consecutive loss to collingwood!

And it took a few swans skill errors (typical) to allow collingwood to win the game..tagdh i am looking at you.

It took a few Pies Skill errors to keep us in the game.

I feel for the glass half empty people. How sad your lives must be.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

The same could be said about half full people, i feel sorry when their expectations get crushed on a consistent basis! How depressing it must be living such a lie!

Even if I'm a gloomy sullen Slav type, I go for the glass half full. Means there's something to drink, preferably boozelike.

Seeing a glass as half-full has nothing to do with unrealistic expectations. Indeed, I would have thought it went hand in hand with having realistic expectations - eg not expecting the Swans to beat the Pies and therefore able to see the positives in the performance and the fact we got reasonably close.

A little bit off the subject I know but has anyone else seen the best players list for the Bulldogs this week?

The only positive to take out of the game is that the pies missed so many sitters..they had a rare bad night in front of goals or else it would have been another 6+ goal defeat by the pies.

But they DID kick heaps of behinds and it WASN'T a 6+ goal defeat. ( BTW, it isn't rare for the pies to kick heaps of behinds. I have taken great pleasure at past games to remind the pies supporters around me of that as they spray yet another kick )

They were inaccurate last year..but not this year!

It was only the pies lethargic performance after a bye that allowed us so close! Thats the reality of it.

In your head it may be reality. Meanwhile I saw a team that looked spooked by high pressure footy and thought the Cats would be rubbing their hands together as they watched. Horse's instruction to kick long at the kick in revealed a hole in their press/flood, too.

I didn't. I saw a team that looked a little bit tired due to the bye and the same team didn't have their kicking boots on.

Yes Horse and the swans showed the rest of the comp how to beat the press. It took this long and the swans to show the other 14 clubs how to do it..purrrlease.

                              Not very accurate this year.
