Would either Thomas or Goddard address our inability to kick enough goals in tight games?
Surely we'd be better off going after a strong-marking, straight-kicking forward to help Sam out.To all those people who waited 72 years to see a South Melbourne/Sydney Swans premiership HERE IT IS!!Comment

Do you think I just enjoy picking random names out of the air for attention? All I will say to protect their identity is they work for an AFL club.Swannies for life!Comment

Our goal kicking woes ( not so much accuracy, but number of shots on goal ) probably stem from a lack of class in general. E.g quality of disposal into F50, placement of kicks in f50 etc. So going after some players with a bit of class is certianly a good idea, particularly when there aren't too many good forwards available anyway. I think we should be geoing hard at anyone who is going to improve us significantly. We've got the money to spend, lets go shopping.Comment

Now we're talking. He's ripe for the picking. The whole 'so near yet so far' scenario at St kilda has taken it's toll, he needs a change of scene.
Maybe the lure of some dish licker action with Plugger could seal the deal.
Would love to see him in the red and white.
Lyons owes us one, so pick 26 would seem an appropriate trade.Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MTComment

No you can't bet on that happening............
Goddard is a possibility unlike Thomas and the Swans wouldn't have to give up as much. The likes of Seaby and Bevan/Meredith might do the deal. I think Seaby will be chased by a few Clubs in need of a ruckman and that would put us in a great trade position. In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.Comment
