Can someone who watches the reserves give us some insight into Curries year? If we had given him the opportunities White has had, would the result have been better?

Nothing on the official twitter account. I believe that tweet was from @ScottHIsAStirrer

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

I thought it was breaking news and my first reaction was to go straight to Betfair and 'back' the Bulldogs and 'lay' the Swans before the inevitable market change that news would bring.

I got set with 3 separate people, but fortunately I couldn't get set for any huge amount at the going rate. I still think the Dogs will firm once the realisation that it will be wet hits home, so I'll get out of the bets later in the week I'm sure.

                      Don't forget that official...lol

The justification is exactly what I said before: LRT offers something other than purely as a ruck. He's an excellent defender (arguably our best) and has had some success up forward. In the age of the sub I'd rather have a field player that can ruck a bit rather than a ruck player that can't do much else.

I'm also a bit intrigued why there is support for Seaby to grow into a forward role but no-one thinks that LRT can improve in the ruck. We have a great track record of developing rucks and I'd suggest that LRT's body type and athleticism is similar to a Leigh Brown or Roughead who have done exceptionally well there.
I see LRT as a very good defender & I have seen LRT in the ruck a few years ago when we had ruck injury problems & if he was going to grow into that role he would have by now. I can't get the Swans stats to work at all as of yesterday will try now. By the way the Hawks never wanted Roughead in the ruck, he was there because they had no-one else as all the rucks were injured. He even played first ruck one game. Hawthorn like their two prong forward set up without using a key forward in the ruck, ask any Hawks supporter & listen to any interview with Clarkspon or Hodge on the subject. LRT's body type is nothing like the other two, Brown has a barrell type frame, Roughie is built & LRT is brawnie or a Hermorphite frame.

                          LRT's Record this year; D.76, M.26, HO.46,FF.9, FA.13, T.23, G.10, P.4. in 10 games.
                          Seaby; D.71, M.20, HO.161, FF.13, FA.3, T.22, G.2, P.1. in 7 games, one as sub.
Seabs record is not too bad & I agree we could get a lot more from him in the goal kicking department but also I did notice that he gets rested on the bench quite t too.
I have always liked LRT but I love him as a defender because he will fight like a mad dog to stop the opposition from scoring. If we had moved LRT to the backline in the third & moves AJ onto Fyfe who was cutting us to pieces because he is so hard to match up on being 6'3 or 4 7 fast as hell, we could have cut their run.
Both of these blokes tackle all the time & we need hard tacklers in the side I think we need them both. The stats speak for themselves. By the way Seabs has averaged 10 disposals not 8/game. LRT 7.6/game

I guess the deafening silence means that nobody does.

By the way, this is my 100th post - do I get to make a speech or something?
