Well, we got our tickets just to be on the safe side.

If its not sold out and you have a membership card, you just roll up on the day, go to the ticket window, show them your card/barcode and they give you a General Admission ticket there and then on the spot.

This seems almost ideal, Irish might need a bit of a nap, maybe watch a game to see what's going on and what he's missing atm. Eski has to play, unless he's dodgy, the sub has to be rotated and if Rohan is fit, well, what then?

I would have thought Pyke would be a fair way behind Seaby to get a game.

I think Pyke would provide a more dangerous target up front than Seaby would though, despite Seaby's better rucking skills.

              I think we can count ourselves lucky after the losses to Adelaide and Fremantle that 3 of the teams below us who could make up ground this Weekend play the following;

              1. NM v Carlton
              2. Essendon v Pies
              3. Demons v Geelong

I think the Saint's will make the 8 fairly easily on current form so our game against them could decide who may jag a home final in elimination week.

Gee I hope we get up over the Bombers - what another crunch game for the boys. Hopefully they are fired up after their rest. Dan looks so hungry at the moment, Kizza is hitting his straps with Goodes. C'mon boys!!

Behind seaby as number 1 ruck (who is behind Mumford), but ahead of seaby and LRT as a forward/backup ruckman

It's a tough ask, historically speaking.

Our record against the Bombers in Melbourne is woeful. I don't remember the exact stat, but we've only beaten them once in Melb in the last 20 years or something ridiculous like that. And that was in 2005.

I usually go to this fixture with my GF as she is a Bomber fan. There's usually plenty of Red & Black there as they pencil it in as a win. And they're usually right

Edit: Aside from 2005, the last time we beat Essendon in Melb was R12 1989 at Windy Hill. Source.

IN - TDL .....We need more forward options
Agree (as usual!) We dominated as we have a number of times this year yet struggled to translate this into scoring supremacy. Had the Dogs grabbed all their chances they still could have threatened us despite far less forward entries.

We are obviously going with LRT as a makeshift FF/Ruckman and only one ruckman. The game plan will also be to go man on man and win each contest and this should translate into winning the game.

I think we can match the top 4 in defense ,midfield and Followers if all play well but the forward lines of the top 4 are far more versatile and dangerous than ours.Your suggestion has merit therefore as it makes our forward line more dangerous and less predictable.

Irish is a shadow of the player he once was and has cost us dearly this year. He has played one season too many but having said that he has a Gold Pass and will be there for the whole distance so i wish him well. If he can just stop giving the opposition easy goals at critical times I will be happy.

Changes: A new pair of boots for Sam and plenty of set shot goal kicking practice during the bye weekend. We had enough shots in recent games to score another 5 goals per week.

The signs aren't good. We're coming off a bye, plus since they lost to us in round 2 Essendon are feeling like we feel like about Freo: umpired out of it and bent on revenge.

It's a pity we weren't scheduled to play the Saints in their first half of the season. As it is, it will be almost two whole seasons since we last played them (round 1 2010) - ludicrous.

We won't beat Geelong at Skilled but should win the other two games. Which makes 11 wins - probably not enough for a home final.

Haha Scott. Get it together mate.

Interesting stat against the Bombers in Melb! Let's hope like Carlton up at the SCG we can end the run. I will be backing us in. Hopefully the Pies belt them into submission this weekend. If they run a good race against the Pies it will give them all the confidence in the World.
