... including Ressies he's 10 for 10 as a Swan!
Watching him in ressies you could see the size and athleticism was there, but the impressive thing was his enthusiasm ... he was working hard to get his own body right to push for seniors, but you could always hear and see him encouraging all of the youngsters around him ... I like him, and I think he has some leadership qualities as well ... Go Spang!

The 6th may have been referring to Andrew Schauble, now obviously retired.
Also, apparently Ted Richards has been trying to convince the coaching staff to take a punt on his little bro, who is also a Xavier boy. We'd have 6 next year if that was to happen.Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!Comment

See what happens when not everyone goes for the specky.Gotta say he showed more footy smarts than I'd seen from him previously, including staying down as the pack flew to score that crucial first goal of the final quarter.
Definitely gave us something and generally the forward line functioned significantly better than it has for many weeks.
I've been saying it for ages. Someone has to stay down to collect the crumbs.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment

I heard the show as well but cant remember the 6th player. Was it Everitt or Parker?Mark Fine and Robert Shaw gave Spangher a big rap this morning on SEN. They said he has given us another genuine mobile forward and commented on how hard he works.
They also talked about our young players and listed them. They said that whatever we do for the rest of the year they are already looking good for 2012.
Remarkable story, they said that 6 of our players went to Xavier College in Melbourne. They named them but I can only remember 3 of them; Hanners, Kennedy and Johnson.Comment
