Oh yes, and like most of our premiership players, a classy exit.

Well done Tadhg - I'll always remember you in full flight providing some fantastic run off the HBF and for that you'll remain one of my favourite Swannies of recent times....

Thanks Tadhg for your dashing play, your dedication to a strange new craft, and your irreplaceable role in our premiership. The jig's up, but it will be long remembered.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

One of my favourite Swans ever and one of the nicest blokes you'll ever meet. I'll never forget the time you went out of your way to make my nephew at his first ever game feel special and welcome. You played a big role in him becoming a Swan for life. Your dedication and dashing play helped us win a premiership and for that you'll always hold a special place in my heart. All the best for the next stage of your life mate. I look forward to thanking you in person at the Club Champion Dinner.

It doesn't seem that many weeks ago that he was saying he wanted to continue on next year.

Seems the tap on the shoulder came and the Club is rewarding all his years with the Swans by announcing this before what may be the last home game.

I wonder whether the year off in Ireland prolonged his carry or shortened it.

My son was watching a replay of the 2005 GF the other night as he was only 4 in that year. He was shocked what happened to Taigh's hair. Where did it go?

Great service to the Club and he leaves with the highest respect and dignity after a remarkable career.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

an absolutely integral part of our period of greatest success. led the way on the counterattacking backline football that brought us a premiership. at his best could anticipate the setup of the next phase of play forward and deliver the ball to it as well as anyone in the league.

B ig smoochy will be delivered at the CC dinner, and I hope you wear those seriously flash shoes again. Thanks for the memories, and for doing everything you had to do. Will always be remembered with a smile and a few "do you rememberwhenhekicked...." - such as that dash at ANZ that resulted in a goal and won us the game against.... Glad you made your decision, it was time. But my lordy what a time it was.

I see Jude as a vital part of our 2015 attempt for three Premierships in a row.

A true champion. Decent, loyal, and someone you would choose to be in the trenches with you. Talented, courageous and never gives up. Will be missed by all but I suspect he will always be a Swan. We must give him a great send-off on Saturday just in case its his last SCG game.
