Whilst there can be no doubt that Stratton is in their best 22, it is still a fair gamble to bring him back from the VFL Reserves. Probably play on Jesse.
And the man who started it all, the Schneiderman . . . . .

Compared with Round 9, the "ins" seem to make us stronger:

        Rohan for Jetta
White for (LRT and LRT for) Grundy
        Spanger for Everitt
        Jack for Malceski

Right on, Buddy not 100%, Bailey dodgy knee, no excuses let's just bloody well thump them, Bevo appears a tough emergency for Hanners..we have to beat the top teams in Finals let's start tomorrow!!

If there stupid enough to risk further injury to Buddy, let them. I've got a feeling he wont be playing though. This might be a bit of Clarko psychology at work...... What i really hate about the lead up to this match is EVERYONE ( media, workmates, freinds, joe bloe from the shop) are rating the swans a fair chance this week ! Last week, no hope. This week, against a vastly better team and where 50/50, maybe better to win ! What the hell is going on ! ? This isnt how its supposed to go down.

            CHANGES :

IN: Being written off as no chance.

OUT: Being rated by every Tom, Dick and Harry because we knocked off the saints and Buddy might not play.

            I prefer it this way.

              The Sub

              Who do you:
              1. Think it will be?
              2. Think it should be?

              Me:
              1. Parker
              2. Kennelly

It really has to be between these two as we need Bird as a tagger for one of the Hawks' midfielders an Hanners is too good to be a sub.

Yeah, to win it's about 21 guys winning contested footy and putting on 4 quarters of finals pressure. If we do that, whether Buddy plays or not becomes irrelevant.
As far as Bevo is concerned......it's a NO from me.

I hate the sub rule. Parker should be in for a full game, and Kenelly could have an impact as the sub, though i doubt it would be positive.

Totally agree. Couldn't belive the amount of people who thought the Saints were morals last week. Now I can't believe how many think we'll roll the Hawks.

Buddy kicked a few goals on the G today, and took no further part in any other training.

We are definitely a stronger team in terms of personnel. It seems to me that Rohan and Spangher have balanced up our forward structure somewhat.

But it's far more than that - the team is now playing well together. That game against Geelong, and last week against the Saints - that's some of the best football we've played for a long time.

It's easy to say you've got belief, but at the moment, we've got the results to back it up.

We have got to stay focussed for 4 quarters.
The bigger space at the MCG is going to give us lots of room to work with. Under a full moon McVeigh and ROK are going to be very difficult to contain.
                          I'm excited.

I Rohan's knee is dodgy they may choose to play him as the sub.

and the vision of him running was not encouraging for them.... he definitely looked proppy...
he would be a significant risk...

I genuinely hope they play Franklin. He would be a passenger seven days after the injury he received according to orthapaedic surgeon I met over the weekend. IHHO 75 per cent capability at very best and severely restricted in leap and turn. Teddy will have him on a leash.
