Well, Kennelly is gone, Shaw is 30+ and Mattner is almost 30, Malceski is 27+ with recurrent injury problems. I'd say another HBF would be handy, though I don't recall ever having seen Armstrong play, so he may not be what we need.

In Aussie Rules we have 4 sections to a team. Forwards, backs, midfielders and rucks. Every football department looks to shore up and ensure that each of these departments is fully stocked. So I have no doubt if our football department sees him as having some quality and value to the backline and is a cheap swap/pickup, and he wants to play for us, then I would think he will get serious consideration, if not have already made the decision.

He can also play on the wing. He is exactly the type our team needs. Quicker than average, good user of the ball, somebody our inside mids can feed.

Plays a bit like Jetta except he can tackle, hit a target and makes good decisions................not like Jetta at all really.

Looks like he has a bit of toe, probably would be faster than the majority of our guys, barring the usual suspects ( Jets ,Mcglynn, Goodes, Rohan, Jack when fit). Kicking skills look good too. It certainly wouldnt hurt to have him,, considering he is specifically the type of player ( along with a reliable marking/ kicking big KP forward ) that our side is lacking. We certainly have the inside grunt to get the ball out to him. Considering he wants out, and he hasnt got the greatest AFL record behind him, you would hope we wouldnt have to give away anything too special to get him.
