It would be nice if the Suns could do their numbers in yellow instead of white though. As it is, from behind they look identical to the Swans (not a problem Geelong, North or Carlton have), and yellow numbers would be more in line with their colour scheme anyway.Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!Comment

Melbourne media....Again
Fair enough we are in sydney but my god the melbourne media just do not rate us at all! I was listening to triple m and they were talking about the best midfields, combined with users off the half back in the league and depth wise. All they mentioned were carlton, hawthorn, collingwood, geelong and west coast in terms of their ruck combo. What about the swannies midfield and half backs? geezus.. Kennedy, Bolton, O'Keefe, Hannebery, Jack, Goodes, Malceski, Shaw and our young guns Rohan, Parker and Jets coming through I think we have a pretty formidable midfield/half backline. Its alright though theyll see our talent when we knock off one of the top 4 sides this year! COYS
LRT. Lord Roberts-Thompson. He may look like the Munster, but looks can be deceiving.

"The outs for the swans are LRT out injured, Seaby makes way for Mummy and Smith has been omitted...." WTF?!!?!?!?!?! OMITTED?????? HE'S @@@@ING INJURED/ILL YOU MORON!!!!!!

Technically he was omitted due to injury. That's still accurate. I would give the benefit of the doubt except that they've also got LRT "out injured" in the same sentence.
177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

I agree. Omitted always refers to someone being left out of the team for a reason other than injury. Illness = injury. By saying Smith has been omitted in the same sentence where he says LRT is out injured definitely implies Smith has been dropped, which is clearly wrong.Brining this thread back to the front page.

The most basic of checking - e.g. a couple of clicks on the Swans official website - would have clarified it.
Scott Cummings, if you expect to be a professional sports journalist (i.e. you get paid for the quality of your info), you need to put in the work to check your facts. You owe an apology.CIA Agent to Policeman: "Have you ever had anti-terrorist training?"
