Put it this way, if you are not a fan of a victorian side and you live in Melbourne footy can be bloody annoying especially in the past 5 years.

Do the NRL and the fans refer to non sydney teams as "interstaters" or is it us victorians just being our arrogant stuck up selves?

I have been painting the pergola all day and have listened to SEN since about 9am. They have banged on about bloody Melbourne all day. I don't how many times I have heard the debate on who has the best midfield; Carlton or Collingwood. During the run home show after 4pm Anthony Hudson started talking about how good North were and how it is a fillip to their supporters and David Schwarz took that as a cue to talk about Melbourne, and North supporters had their moment of glory swept away from them, and they never returned to the topic. They went on about Melbourne for the next 20 minutes. They must read of the same script on this topic.

Robinson went from 1pm to 1.40pm talking about the Malthouse,Buckley,McGuire fued. Nausiating stuff.

Can't wait for more of the same tripe on OTC.

You forgot to mention the 5 min block of ads in between 5 mins of inane chatter and then a sports update every 10 mins in betweem more ads that only mentions news about victorian based clubs.

Funnily enough, they call the Storm the Storm and the QLD teams by their names.
They don't even say the New Zealand team are from overseas; so yes, it's just you Victorians.

Does the Herald Sun footy website have a pay wall? It seems weird that they want you to signup and login to read most of their stories, while you can read the same stories on the Daily Telegraph's footy website without all that rigmarole.

Its coming for both papers. I subscribe to the telegraph and recently received a detailed survey asking me what I would pay extra to receive access to their digital edition . Then out of the blue a few weeks ago I received an invitation to have a months free access to the herald sun website so its only a matter of time before its pay per view. Based on my distinct bias to not paying for anything on the net, it looks like the herald sun will now be a thing of the past for me. If there going to make me pay for it, I want the full hardcopy edition delivered to my door each morning (which is unlikely to happen being that I live in Sydney).

I really am shocked that people are paying to read news limited rubbish. Since the Heralds Dumb paywall has gone up i have not once clicked on an article thats been posted. It's rubbish and borderline insulting to ask us to pay for manufactured dross.

The downside to the herald sun being paywalled is that now a lot of herald sun readers have joined TheAge/SMH and now the comments section is filled with xenophobic/homophobic comments and collingwood posters.
