I'm so so on Andrejs' performance. Chad was one of the best players in the competition at one point, and he seemed to have a new lease on life last night (there was a lot of debate over whether he was really past it at PA or just overlooked for youth); keep in mind that he's only a couple of years younger than Goodesy.
I think Andrejs offers someone who could be a lead up forward target and can kick straight, he may not have shown that last night but I'd hate to see a guy dropped after 1 game (even if he was poor, and it was for my beloved/your nemesis Jesse who was good in the magoos) when we've won well.
Cunningham is a fair out, got a taste and no shame to bounce in/out given this stage of his career.I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time -

I would start Lamb. I can't see the point in bringing a bloke in as the sub for his first game. That's Eade stuff. He had Bolton and Fosdike on the pine for most games they played then dropped them back to Port. Doesn't help their development or the team by giving them 5 minutes. I would have started Cunningham last night given it was GWS and given him a real taste. He may have picked up a couple of early goals to boot.Comment

I'm sure they won't drop LRT but ....I'd like to see -
OUT : LRT, Cunningham(give him some full games in the 2's) or Everitt
IN : Seaby , TDL
LRT IS A DEFENDER, please put him back there.
Everitt doesn't do it for me.
Cunningham, excellent prospect but putting on as a sub, puts more pressure on him, not less.
Give him some full games in the 2's...let him build into the season rather than throwing him in for a quarter here and there.
Seaby is better both in the ruck and up forward than LRT.
TDL is a smart forward , who reads the play and finds space better than most, and he's an excellent set shot !Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MTComment

Revised with injuries:
Out: Everitt, Cunningham (needs some practice in the twos), Parker [inj]
In: TDL, Nipper, Shaw if he's ready otherwise Lamb for debut.
I'm keen to see some more young bloods get a run, Lamb and Nipper have talent, they just need a chance to show it on the big stage. TDL always makes our forward line look more structured, something we really need.Comment

You wouldnt like to make too many changes, but like most i would seriously look at putting some forwards in the forward line. Andrejs was dissapointing, but would you drop him after that performance ? Maybe. LRT, as has been said 1000 times is a defender and if he has no defensive role, really shouldn't be playing. Mumford is going to need a hand in the ruck against Sandi and Zac Clarke and i think of the part timers, White is probably the better option. I'd also like to get him in with the hope any confidence gained from a solid performance in the 2's might linger long enough for him to play a good game of seniors. ( You just feel if he he dominates one game.. but i know its all been said before....) Parker looks like he may miss also with a hairline fracture of the jaw.
OUT: Andrejs, LRT, Parker,
In: Shaw, O Keefe, White. ( If Shaw doesnt get up, perhaps Lamb or TDL to get a chance to impress).
I would playing O Keefe in his old half forward role, where i think he is going to have to play most of the year. He is probably the best forward in our side at the moment yet he doesnt spend a great deal of time there. He is capable of kicking 2-3 goals a game consistently and right now thats where we need him to be i feel.Comment

Can't see more than 2 changes happening at this stage. I don't see Horse making that drastic a change after a win. He'll go the conservative route methinks.
Out: Parker (inj.), Everitt
In: Shaw, White/Seaby
2nd change is only made because 211 and Clarke are coming to town. Any other team (aside from WCE) and I think they'd keep Everitt.
Expecting ROK back I think is a bit optimistic given how Horse talks. "He's a chance" = not playing as far as Horse goes IMO.
Can't see TDL being promoted after one outstanding game against a bunch of teens and not doing anything in the preseason due to injury.Comment
