I would start Parker, but maybe because of his injury and he is such a ball magnet they might just keep him for the last quarter and a half. Can kick a goal or 2 also.

I know its early in the season but didnt we learn anything from last season in regards to our forward line? Again we go with Lrt who is a good defender average 2nd ruck and an ordinary FF. If the focus has been on skills then we need a good lead up ff so we stop just bombing into our fwd 50, not much skill improvemed required to just bomb it in.

We have TDL and White in the reserves whats the point??? they wont develop in the reserve comp why not throw them in and let our MF and FWD get used to the patterns how each other move and lead and get things right rather than wait to round 15 whats the point?? If White and TDL are not looked at as key members of our fwd 50 by now why keep them on the list?? They wont improve playing in this reserve comp. First up game against the GWS a great oppourtunity to ease them in and build up some confidence.

So they were under done but we were playing GWS but Okeefe and Shaw come straight back in against harder opposition in Freo why? one team one rule??
Im so frustrated because I cant see us making the 4 with our current fwd structure there is no potency or x factor, Blanket Sam Reid and it looks ordinary(we need Goodes in MF)

We are going to find out why you don't play not match fit players against good opposition on the weekend. We are also going to find out the idiocy of playing a second ruck that couldn't hold his own against a 197cm let alone a 203cm or 211cm. If you want to win play the in form match fit blokes! We will get a footy lesson this week! We deserve to be taken apart because we are playing too many players who are at this stage not quite match fit or dodgy at the leastr as to fitness. Bugger!!! Whay go down this road! Horse and the Selection Committee must be mad! We have very good depth now and I don't see why the stupid coaches won't take a few risks! Bloody pathetic! A chance to make a real statement as to how the game plan had changed and guess what! No @@@@@@@ing change!!!!

Really how do you guarantee we are going to win by 30 pts? A lack of specialist forwards, no ruck other than Mummy, at least three under match fit players. My problem with the LRT ruck is that he is crap in the ruck and is going to get flogged by these guys and we can't rely upon our mids roving to their rucks as they have a pretty fine midfield of their own. Never think that close enough is good enough! If a player is close enough to selection in my opinion, as humble as it is he should not be picked! The other problem I have is the over burdening of Mummy, this took a toll on him last season and he ended up out injured for a few games. We need to have a real second ruck not a pretend one against sides that have good ruck combinations. Last year we went into several games with LRT or White as second ruck and it didn't pay off. These games were Hawks, Dockers, Adelaide, Carlton and each of these sides had two ruck, Oh I forgot the Pise!

Agree with this totally. The coaches can't seem to think out of the experienced team they or at least Horse is used to! Time to move on HORSE!!! Players who have had very little build up to the season need a game in the 2's you might want to look at every other club in the League! No easy access for them and therefore more competition for places!

Happy with the selection - probably the best balance available right now. LRT gives a decent contest forward and in the ruck - and his mobility is needed. O'Keefe can park himself around full forward for parts of the game if fitness becomes an issue.
