He's seen as someone who is versatile and can fill some holes for us. I don't think he's In our best 22 either, but I think the coach likes the idea he can play anywhere on the ground ( poorly IMO) if need be. A hole in defence, run through the middle, he can take a grab and kick a goal ( I'll give him that). I don't think he'd be playing if LRT or Spangher were fit or Walsh was banging Down the door.Comment

I've been critical of Everitt, but to be fair he was good as sub last week. From what I recall he played on the wing and was quite good in moving the ball forward while we kicked those quick goals. We've had a few recent outs, which is probably why he stays. Blooding one new player in either Armstrong/Walsh/Harry is enough.Comment

I think the ins are fairly good for a tough day at the office. Walshy is a massive body and will match up well against the roos. Armstrong will hopefully give us more outside run in the midfield and hopefully cunningham can snag us a few goals. This is going to be a very tough game and we have to stop wells and harvey because if given the space they will break the lines in the tiny SCG. Goodesy is a massive loss but i think we have enough depth to hopefully cover for his loss. Cmon YOU SWANNIES.LRT. Lord Roberts-Thompson. He may look like the Munster, but looks can be deceiving.

Look whoever they play it is going to go right down to the last kick! This Roos team is very fit at this time of the year and I don't think we are yet that fit! But we have a new game plan that is so different that they probably don't like it too much. The long kick is going to trouble them especially in the wet. They like the sides that play short and pick and match like Cats! They are not too happy with sides that confront and hassle them and play long.
By the way I believe Everitt has done enough to retain his place. Let it be known that some players don't have to go through the resies to get a game! Why!!!! I don't care if you are Adam Goodes or Luke Parker, if you are short on match practice get it in the 2's not in my AFL side! Pick match fit players please!!! ROK & Shaw were not match fit when picked!!! How dare anyone say Shaw beat Hill as Hill had 18 posies at 83% and Rhyce had 10 at 90%. But I don't see how we won that except Hill didn't kick a bag of goals. But he doesn't do that every week anyway but sets them up like he did against us that week. When they were on a roll he was in the thick of it in the third!
Rhyce had better be fit and ready to take on Bomber Harvey because he is a new entity this year. That is going to be his man without Smithy!!! But who is going to take Wells? Who is to take Thomas? They have a lot of talls too!
Goldstien, MacIntosh, Petrie & Hansen are all tall targets as well as having that pest Edwards running around.
