Honestly, that kid makes me feel so ooolllldddd.........devil child devil child. Friend at training said he and G were exchanging hardware info re their iphones, he is around for a bit then home for two months, then the club want him back where they can work with him. Not saying this is word for word, just saying its somewhere close....ish.

Gary
My girlfriend Brooke and I are wishing for a super speedy recovery for you in the coming months. Stick by who and what you believe in most and you'll be ship shape ready to go for next season.
All of us on here believe you are a key part of the future of our great Club and wish you the best.
Take care
DanCaptain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sectorComment

I dare say nothing - I have memories of an arse skimming lime green A line knit material dress with long sleeves, white knee length plastic boots, dark brown tights and a mullet hairdo from hell. I have no right to comment. If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

At the risk of bringing this back to the point...
My absolute favourite moment from last season was standing on the terrace at kardinia park, yelling go gary go gary go gary (it reminds me a bit of the smoking ad as I say it now) as he raced further and further away from me with the ball before slotting the goal.
I hope he recovers completely even if it takes a little longer and that everyone connected with the club look after him, both mentally and physically.Comment

In fact, Rooster even showed us the pic of his xray on his phone...Great big metal bar with two solid screws through it..told him he was buggered for life at airport security checks.Comment

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

An article in the Age today about Gary's reaction and response to his injury.

And an update at the Swans site. The story teaser said he had "spoken for the first time since breaking his leg". I doubt that's trueComment

Poor bugger, seems pretty down and unsure what to do/say in the video. I hope he can work through it, he has come this far in his life through mental strength and work. Lets hope he can go back to the well with an even bigger bucket!Comment
