Just had this image of a journo asking that very question in the post match press conference, and having Horse look at him straight faced and asking "What kicking woes?"

Does anybody seriously think they are not doing everything in their power to rectify it?

We just need patience and hope he comes good, but if he doesn't and remains a dodgy kick the rest of his playing days, I'd like to think the club we love has done everything they could to get him up to speed. It will come, he's technique may not be flawless, but I'm convinced 90% of his problem at the minute is between the ears...
Agree, Davis clearly part of that plan. He kicks well on occasions and nearly always when 'feild' kicking. Very suggestive of confidence more than absolute technique.

      Will be a gun

Looks like you were on the money Liz. Available with an early plea. I think he is very lucky to get a 'low impact' grading, although I can't really disagree. He was a few inches from about 4 weeks....

Or snapping Surjan's leg, then playing the victim card, and getting off scot-free...... Not that I'm bitter about the whole thing......

Didn't even make the 9 news.
They showed Selwood from 2 different angles, the brawl, then the Montagna incident.

Even though I don't want to see players suspended left, right and centre for sliding in this decision and the lack of talk about it really frustrates me. We lose Goodes for his milestone game, Rohan for the year (or worse) while Thomas gets off and Walker barely rates a mention.

Thats why the comparison with Roughead is a good one.He used to spray them everywhere after brilliant marks. Now somebody(A coach I presume) has changed his approach, his ball drop, his leg action and the result was 5 goals in the first half. I will be patient as you suggest and trust the club but I wish I knew what they were doing.

I wonder what acting school the Selwood brothers all went to? They can't all be naturally talented footballers and that good at acting, surely? Ducking, diving, these are all separate sports for mine

I think that, as kids, they must have played a lot of indoor footy in the hallway at home and it had a particularly low ceiling.

True, we don't exactly what they're doing, but the Swans do just about everything better than just about every other club.

                        Try this test:
Imagine Sam in the hands of the Melbourne coaches.

Now think of him being mentored by Horse, Dew, Blakey, et al.

That should put your mind at rest.

Did anyone see the footage of Lindsay Thomas sliding in again this week, too bad he didn't break another leg, preferably his own. Cheat, no, I'm not bitter, not at all

Yeh! They should be taking on Matthew Mitcham at the Olympics. Seeing they duck so much they might also look at Synchronised Swimming!

I think the Selwood's are all big fans of the movie Dodgeball.

                                Dodge, duck, dip, dive and......dodge.
