Still dont like the raw deal White gets - didnt spend much time at FF gets 1 game then dropped might as well shop him around now. Lrt back as 2nd ruck which hasnt worked. Memo to john it hasnt worked try using 2 ruckmen oh theres an original idea. Pyke could play FF CHF 2nd or 1st ruck so no risk playing Seaby as well. LRT can pinch hit in these roles but will not dominate any of them.
Like TDL starting, stupid selection selection as sub last week, Balance of the team looks better but would prefer 2nd ruck Seaby rather than LRT, stronger Fwd line will help McGlynn sneak in there and do some damage.
Like the team this week apart from White out and LRT in.

    Cheers

Jesse has had a million chances to impress and has been on the list a long time so I don't feel sorry for him at all.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

I agree! gGet rid of him as back up ruck! The one thing Melbourne has is a good ruck department! This is really stuffed! White is definitely the better option against this side! This is another example of the selection committee not getting it right! for a start they had the chance to give a few players a chance to prove themselves against a @@@@e side and didn't take it!! Every other side has! Why not us? Too afraid Horse?

Agree re LRT. He should play back only. However I wouldn't underestimate the Dees - I mean, yes, they are basically rubbish, but I don't want our boys thinking that - that's a very good way to end up with egg on your face. Happy to see Tommy in the team, very glad to see Pykey too, but any more changes than those 2 plus LRT could be too much or one game.

Didn't do a lot wrong last week Al just we were outcoached! He didn't get much opportunity except when in the ruck and first week back? Give the lad a chance! The ball was delivered like a melon into our forward line! I would been @@@@@@@ing terrified if I was receiving the delivery we gave last week! Talk about set players up for a good set of callipers!

I don't agree! We have the chance of blooding some good players including Harry, Mitch, Nipper etc! We have to trust them to come up with the goods! After all some of our senior players are not going to be with us next year and we need to blood these guys NOW! This was the perfect opportunity!

We need to play our strongest team each week! We need to beat the Demons and we can't afford to go all experimental! IMHO 3 changes is enough - hopefully Sam and Benny can rediscover their mojos with a more functional forward line - fingers crossed........

I just want four points...please? Don't care who gets them for us.

Spot on Jono!! Only poorly performed clubs panic and make wholesale changes to their sides. Thankfully we have a set of coaches who don't panic and throw the baby out with bath water.

I agree totally Waz! I think they put LRT in just because he has been a Premiership player! They forget he was that in a Back posie not as a second ruck! He is totally @@@@e in the second ruck! If given a job and schooled in the back half in training her is fantastic! Secondly, the decision to put TDL as the sub last week was one of the worst I have ever come across! Our major problem was we don't have forwards who can kick goals. So we play the specialist forward on the pine? @@@@ing baffling! We have a few passengers at the moment and a lot of this board would not like to hear their names! But the truth is these players are not quite excelling! One had to play a kick behind the game to pick up possessions! The other while purportedly keeping his player to at least 20 possessions manages to get 10 or less himself! Whereas he used to hurt them on the way back last year!

Crap Al! Bloody Melbourne Grammar U 16 could beat Melbourne! Mind you they might just make a point of it as they used to provide most of the players for the Melbourne FC at one stage!

I think most supporters understand the culture of this club is one where players have to EARN senior games.

Oooh I dunno, Jesse looked pretty bewildered a few times at the game. Had the ball and just didn't know what to do with it. At other times, didn't really know what was happening and it showed. I guess what it comes down to, is whether there are other players on our list that can do a similar job to what White does. I guess by the end of the season, we'll find out what the outcome is to that situation.

We seem one too tall. I wonder if Jonson might take on Everitt's role as a mobile wing/ forward? Or maybe run with Watts . And who get's Green?
