AJ should be running with Watts! If there is another solution tell me. Teddy could but why? Watts is at best a middling mark, he is good on the ground and clever. I think AJ can take him! I don't think it matters who gets Green, this guy is finished and he and the club don't know it! Put Shaw on him! He doesn't get the ball either! If he is on Green maybe he will have a day out!

Oooh I dunno, Jesse looked pretty bewildered a few times at the game. Had the ball and just didn't know what to do with it. At other times, didn't really know what was happening and it showed. I guess what it comes down to, is whether there are other players on our list that can do a similar job to what White does. I guess by the end of the season, we'll find out what the outcome is to that situation.

I think most of our blokes looked like stunned rabbits last week! I saw Rhyce Shaw run into three Tiges players simply because he chose to go the wrong way. They must have thought it was Xmas! While ROK got a lot of ball it was because he was playing as a loose man in defence. A lot of good that did! If you really want to win you identify the frailties in the opposition and you prey on them!

There is an awful lot of talk in this thread about LRT versus White.
Lets face it , as tall forward/ 2nd ruck, they are both ordinary.
I don't think it makes much difference which plays.

What is exciting will be seeing what Walsh has to offer.
If nothing else, I like the balanced look of the forward line.
Some natural forwards and some talls.
Hopefully TDL gets a full game this week.

I don't think it makes much difference which plays.

What is exciting will be seeing what Walsh has to offer.

I agree Ernie as long as Sammy gets to play CHF and Walshy gets to play FF! YES! TDL on the park! Some idiots tried blaming him for our loss last week! What @@@@@@@wits. He played all of one and a half quarters and kicked a goal and had a hand in two more. What more do you want. The guy is a forward not a pinch hitting fast winger! If you want that bring on Harry or Shane Biggs!

LRT is the worst of the two as a ruckman. Jesse sometimes looks lost in play, whereas LRT does not. But LRT is such a liability in the ruck that we may as well give them a head start. Jesse is much better in the ruck and gives us good ball.I love LRT in the Back line! I think he would have been very handy last week!

I think most supporters understand the culture of this club is one where players have to EARN senior games.

In a perfect world you would hope that the senior team was stable enough and injury free,and every player could earn his spot by showing qualities possesed by the elite of the club. With the sub rule,ever increasing speed of the game and seemingly growing injuries this year across the board, list management is becoming more important than ever,some sides have already rested players against the lower clubs and we are not half way thru.

Id imagine the powers that be have some sort of plan in place for resting players along the way but i hope they put it into place soon as you dont want to leave it too late or injuries or suspensions could really screw up the best laid plans.It doesnt have to be wholesale changes but there should be oppurtunities taken like when we play Melbourne is a perfect time to rest a Mcglynn,Okeefe or Mcveigh i would of thought.

Still dont like the raw deal White gets - didnt spend much time at FF gets 1 game then dropped might as well shop him around now. Lrt back as 2nd ruck which hasnt worked.

You have got to be kidding! White has had more chances at FF and anywhere else in the side than just about anyone, ever. He simply is not up to AFL standard. Period. You need to start getting your head around this. The guy has had his chances and is simply not effective as an AFL standard player. He cannot kick goals. He gives away free kicks like nobody's business and he just cannot seem to read the play. After three years how many more chances do you want to give him?

Totally agree! Sorry Al you are just a Dinosaur! Sorrryyy! In this new game you need to be able to run as many new players against the lower sides as you can. Otherwise many of your older players may burn out before the end of the season. The other thing about your 'earning your place as a Swan' what a load of crap! There have been senior players playing on reputation for the last two years! Earn their place I doubt it! If you are there it is harder to move you than it is to move an Australian cricketer! We have some passengers at the moment and most are not admitting it as they are senior players who we all respect!

Get some form in the 2s. Play like your life depends on it. If he did that there would be a spot for him. They are not playing White because of ability. They are playing him because Morton is a bigger dill.

Didn't do a lot wrong last week Al just we were outcoached! He didn't get much opportunity except when in the ruck and first week back? Give the lad a chance! The ball was delivered like a melon into our forward line! I would been @@@@@@@ing terrified if I was receiving the delivery we gave last week! Talk about set players up for a good set of callipers!

I agree with you Al! Players have to earn games around here! None of this 'let's give so and so a go because he's been trying hard in the Reserves' - that's not how we do it here!!!
