I think I'm slowly coming around to this whole NEAFL thing. Its probably the best thing for us in lieu of a proper Reserve Grade competition. The competition seems to be improving and coming up against GWS, Brisbane and GC Reserves will give us a decent look at how certain guys are going.

Looks like a wet weekend - any chance they'll move the game to Lakeside?

I suspect there's also less chance of injury in the NEAFL than the VFL or SANFL.

Not Lakeside - Blacktown. So says Sydney Swans Reserves on Facebook.

Pick the sub on the day according to the weather, take in LRT if dry, Armstrong if wet, i'm almost convinced that TDL will start the game this week

Unless there's a lot of doubt around one of the rucks, I'd rather have seen LRT make way and Walsh stay in for one more.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I hope you're right about TDL - when picked he should always start.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

TDL to start for me - and show why he was elevated from the twos - and encourage Morton to eventually do likewise.

It was not enough to kick goals, but to understand the requirements for Swans' style of football.

Bit of a mystery, mind you the Dogs added Cordy, to Minson, Jones and Roughhead, so it's a popular bit of lunacy.

ALMOST convinced not quite, yd have to think Armstrong will get the sub vest, it's a very confusing issue

If LRT goes back then Armstrong as sub looks the go. Then again with wet weather Armstrong might be best to start on the ground. Malceski out tells me that they are going to try Armstrong in his position.

Would be funny if Mummy was the sub.

Maybe a possibility given weather and lack of match fitness.
He'll certainly make an impact off the bench!
