Nine-goal quarters

The difference between those losses and the wins against Saints last year and the Bombers on Saturday? To some level I can understand the feelings of negativety arising from that last quarter. From a Sydney Swan fans point of view it was one of the hardest 30 minutes you could imagine, not at all enjoyable.
But we won!
-Only the second away win against Essendon in nearly a quarter of a century.
-Breaking a worrying Melbourne hoodoo after four straight losses to Richmond (2011), Hawthorn (2011 semi final), Richmond and St Kilda
-Showing great depth, no Goodes, McGlynn, Parker, Rohan, and Hanners (for the last quarter).
-Playing akin to a genuine Premiership contender for the first 2 1/2 quarters.
-Beating away from a home a very good side who had only lost one prior game at Docklands out of thirteen since James Hird took over the coaching.
-And winning an " 8 point" game in the context of a top four finish.
No, not a case of the glass being HALF full, but TOTALLY full.
I WASN'T THERE!!!!!!!!
I am NEVER going to a Melbourne game again - I AM A JINX!Comment
