    But we won!
-Only the second away win against Essendon in nearly a quarter of a century.
-Breaking a worrying Melbourne hoodoo after four straight losses to Richmond (2011), Hawthorn (2011 semi final), Richmond and St Kilda
-Showing great depth, no Goodes, McGlynn, Parker, Rohan, and Hanners (for the last quarter).
-Playing akin to a genuine Premiership contender for the first 2 1/2 quarters.
-Beating away from a home a very good side who had only lost one prior game at Docklands out of thirteen since James Hird took over the coaching.
-And winning an " 8 point" game in the context of a top four finish.

No, not a case of the glass being HALF full, but TOTALLY full.
I think it is only 3 straight losses in Melb. We beat the Saints last year in the Final at Etihad.
But I get your drift!! Lets hope it's the start of a new trend.
