I just had a feeling we would win comfortably.

A great all round effort from everyone really. O'keefe, Hanners and Pyke the standouts for me.

On another note, did anyone else notice, I think it was in the 2nd quarter, after a goal was kicked, we forgot to put a ruckman in for a centre bounce?
It may have been but I thought it was a mid that was missing. Funnily enough we got the clearance from a fairly crappy Eagles hit out. I haven't had another look yet!

Jacko struggles with 2+2. Doubt he has heard of Canada

Also watched the replay and Sam Reid's game looked even better a second time. Was at almost every forward contest in the last quarter and had many effective touches. Bird was pretty handy also.

Jacko is a luminary compared to some of the other media pack.

We were a real team tonight, it has been building for some time but tonight under huge pressure we smashed a very good side. I don't care how many players they had out to win by that much is amazing. A team is only as good as it's depth and ours is great, theirs has been exposed!

Reid was given cox to follow at points. His efforts were very good. Suprising move by horse. He has showed what a good coach he has become

Yep, good summation Nico... would add : That was the best display of speed and accurate handball by almost everyone I've seen from the Swans for ages.... there seemed to be Greg Williams's all over the ground in red and white..

Huddo's commentary was dreadfully one-sided... it took until the 14 min mark of the last quarter for him to give The Swans a decent compliment: "The Swans are certainly a force to be reckoned with...''

As Ted repelled attack after attack, Huddo barely mentioned his uncanny ability to read the play correctly....

yep maccas left hander 25m plus was a cracker

im stoked macca has risen up again the last 4 or 5 weeks.......I was getting really worried this season that he had lost some speed and would end up just tagging the next few seasons.......not that is tragic as Kirky was a great captain and tagger......but I was hoping for more outside flexibility for our midfield rotation !

Macca even ran past Shaw to almost chase down Chris Masten no 3 pick pick from the 2007 draft baby !

No, it was definately a Ruckman. O'Keefe noticed it late, when the ball was in the air after it was bounced, and ran from outside the circle to make an effort, but was late.

Not sure what I did but stuffed up the recorder at home so haven't seen the full game yet, but the highlights looks fabulous and I look forward to getting home tomorrow and sitting down to watch the replay! Sounds like the sort of 4 quarter effort we've been waiting to see, and to do it againts the Weagles at Subi makes it even better.

Still a lot of footy to be played this season, but if the footy gods continue to smile our way generally in terms of injuries, then we can go a long way this season.

I like LRT. His goal in the 2nd quarter was PIM.

                            God speed to his recovery.

I was stuck at work, listened to it on ABC.

I've got to say, there is nothing better than the boys kicking a goal and hearing silence from the Subiaco crowd. LOVE IT!
