Also watched the replay and Sam Reid's game looked even better a second time. Was at almost every forward contest in the last quarter and had many effective touches. Bird was pretty handy also.Comment

Every time he got near the ball our mids jumped on him & he had no influence in the last half. The same went for Priddis and Selwood. We shut their mids down completely. We were a real team tonight, it has been building for some time but tonight under huge pressure we smashed a very good side. I don't care how many players they had out to win by that much is amazing. A team is only as good as it's depth and ours is great, theirs has been exposed!Comment

Reid was given cox to follow at points. His efforts were very good. Suprising move by horse. He has showed what a good coach he has becomeComment

Yep, good summation Nico... would add : That was the best display of speed and accurate handball by almost everyone I've seen from the Swans for ages.... there seemed to be Greg Williams's all over the ground in red and white.."He was proud of us when we won and he was still proud of us when we lost' Tami Roos about Paul Sept 06.Comment

Huddo's commentary was dreadfully one-sided... it took until the 14 min mark of the last quarter for him to give The Swans a decent compliment: "The Swans are certainly a force to be reckoned with...''
As Ted repelled attack after attack, Huddo barely mentioned his uncanny ability to read the play correctly...."He was proud of us when we won and he was still proud of us when we lost' Tami Roos about Paul Sept 06.Comment

yep maccas left hander 25m plus was a cracker
im stoked macca has risen up again the last 4 or 5 weeks.......I was getting really worried this season that he had lost some speed and would end up just tagging the next few seasons.......not that is tragic as Kirky was a great captain and tagger......but I was hoping for more outside flexibility for our midfield rotation !
Macca even ran past Shaw to almost chase down Chris Masten no 3 pick pick from the 2007 draft baby !"be tough, only when it gets tough"

No, it was definately a Ruckman. O'Keefe noticed it late, when the ball was in the air after it was bounced, and ran from outside the circle to make an effort, but was late.Comment

Not sure what I did but stuffed up the recorder at home so haven't seen the full game yet, but the highlights looks fabulous and I look forward to getting home tomorrow and sitting down to watch the replay! Sounds like the sort of 4 quarter effort we've been waiting to see, and to do it againts the Weagles at Subi makes it even better.
Still a lot of footy to be played this season, but if the footy gods continue to smile our way generally in terms of injuries, then we can go a long way this season."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment
