Fast paced stuff, but now we are really working our backsides off. Finally. Pyke has been superb.

That's the problem playing for himself again and again. Stop showboating and do the team thing

Griffen 25, Boyd 19 disposals. Clamp those two and Bulldogs will grind to a halt

              That it swans okeef goal.
turning point of the game swans pressure getting on top now. Just needs to covert to score board pressure. We need to keep the pressure on the the second half and Taking control of this game. Goodse must be injured he kicking is only about 40 meters.

To everybody that has ever doubted LRT and/or pyke for a while there they were the only players keeping us in the game.

Good solid quarter. About a 30pt turn around. The Dogs have been fantastic though; great intensity which has mean the game is both fast and physical. The warning sign is this is that we can't again afford to drop off, becasue they will continue fighting the whole game. Hope Macca is okay.

I don't think so every time he kicks he can't make any distance. That last shot at goal didn't even make it, 20 metres short. He is NOT right! All his kicks today have been really short and all over the place. That is a sign that when he kicks he is stretching and tightening. Not good!

Very poor kick from goodes at goal missed everything, not the same player since the injury.

A new Kirkism: "injury concern to Macca, he's hobbling off. Looks like he copped one in the neck"

That was better. They're not missing JUde they just didn't turn up to play.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

Will the AFL world be quaking in its boots about facing the dynamic forward duo of Pyke and LRT?!! They've both been very good.

Kudos to the Dogs for coming out and playing as if they have nothing to lose. As the commentators have said, the Swans are going to have to play well to win this, and thankfully we've started to play a little better. Mids are now winning their fair share of ball, but delivery forward remains haphazard at best. With as many as 4 talls targets down there at any time, just think how effective the forward line could be if the ball was sent vaguely in their direction.

Had forgotten how great Ryan Griffen is to watch... McVeigh starting to play tighter on him towards the end of that quarter which he needed to. Dennis quoted Bruce Springsteen: "You can't start a fire without a spark" and I think it sums up our first half perfectly. 20 inside 50s in the second quarter suggest the Swans have woken up. Enjoyable game to watch.
