our pressure and forward line gone. they are just killing us now.

for 50 minutes of dominance versus 8 there is a six point game.

they are playing a spare player at half back who has just destroyed us. our forward line is just deplorable. the ball gets to half forward and then comes out with such pace.

We @@@@@@ up. Badly. I'm pretty pissed at the mids in particular for losing grip. Big second half coming.

basically while the game is played tight and in close we have got them. if we do half pressured kicks to half forward the ball comes out very very quickly and the open field running of the hawks is leaving us behind.

plus when the ball goes into our forward line in a scrambly way our best result is a stoppage. when the ball goes into their forward fifty in a scrappy fashion franklin and roughhead look like they will put our backs under all sorts of pressure.

grundy looking really ordinary out there i must say. i quite like reg but he doesnt look likely.

Once again our centre clearance work lets us down. Also when we did get a kick away our forwards were behind. Grundy is struggling a bit under the pressure.

It appeared we relaxed just a bit and let them in. You can't do it against top sides.

Can we not let Malceski kick in.

Kizza is such an eloquent speaker. In a team full of media trained, give nothing away, speak in cliches robots, his honestly and sincerity is refreshing. I remember listening to his interview with SEN and you could really tell that he took the time to think about his answer (an underrated quality in this day and age!).

after 10 minutes of that qtr we never looked like scoring, you could see Hawks getting on top, we always stop playing in games for some strange reasons

Yep Reg is the weak link and they seem to be pushing him back to the last line.

I can't work out why in the 2nd quarter we stopped kicking to the top of the square when we had the chance. Their backline was at sixes and sevens when we did that in the first quarter.
