I wouldn't be too concerned about Walsh tomorrow. Either one of Walsh, Morton, Everitt, White, TDL or even Lamb were going to fill the vacant mid sized/key position forward spot after Grundy's stupid stupid stupid brain snap. All of the above would have had zero to little influence on the game.

Tomorrow is all about winning the pill in the middle and taking the Crows on. They're coming off easy wins and are vunerable. And, IMO, they are not that good! Take out Dangerfield and Thompson from their midfield, and it looks ordinary (including Sloane & Van Berlo).

Last time Jacobs beat Phoebe in the Ruck, this time he has Mummy & the Canadian. Mummy is ready to go, ditto Jetta, Goodes, Reid, Bolton, McVeigh & O'Keefe. Expect the old firm of Goodes, O'Keefe, Richards, Bolton & McVeigh to have big games. Same with Jack & Kennedy, but that's par the course. My only concern is Hanners needs a rest and Parker just isn't right at the moment.

On a sidenote, I'm sort of glad Grundy is not playing this week. He has been Captain Stuff Up in the last month, needs a rest and a good hard think about his own game.

Look on the bright side of the Grundy disqualification - it'll give RWO a whole different side of LRT's performance to criticise next week.

On stuff-ups, last week Mal went close to holding on the ball too long as he was doing prior to being dropped. I hope he's over that this week.

Walsh is a roll of the dice, given his inexperience. He does give us some hope, being a tougher player. Tragic that Longmire did not bite the bullet on LRT mid year and give Walsh more of a go.

We will eagerly how he goes
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

This game may give us more guidance on Walsh. His terrific game in the International last year was tempered for me by Tadgh deservedly getting BOG; but Tadgh was cooked at AFL level by then..completely cooked. Made the form line hard to work out.

Then against the Saints at Etihad earlier in the season, Walsh was absolutely out of his depth. Went back to the twos and put in some pretty solid performances, then showed bits in the last couple of senior level matches.

This may well be a break out game for him.

But I have no idea what to expect!

Dont expect too much. Walsh is marginally ahead of Morton, TDL and Jesse White, and thats about it.

Wouldnt be getting a game if Grundy wasnt suspended.

He's our 23nd best player on the list at the moment, and his form will follow that.

Put it this way, if he's not our worst player tomorrow, he's played above his station.

I think Walsh has stepped quite nicely into the LRT role.

LRT hasn't copped much critisism of late.

That actually makes sense - unless he plays as we expect and others are even worse.

You do know that, baring injuries, he'll be dropped and LRT will go forward again when Reg comes back, don't you?

Of the emergencies, only Morton & Armstrong arrived in Adelaide. Didn't see Jesse.

The team was greeted by a MMM sponsored rendition of the Crows theme song ... Adelaide people are soooo funny

That would be the biggest event in Adelaide for the day. All the press (both of them) would be waiting with notepads and pencils to phone in the Swans arrival story.

I'm starting to get excited by this and I'm liking our chances, even without Reg...
