Jude on the front cover of the daily telegraph. Typical tabloid predicting 140,000 combined for both finals.

NRL at 42K. AFL at 40K.

Odds on NRL will win, but AFL will make a lot more money. On target for 60K+. Nice weather could push it up to 70K.

Awesome. Pity I cant make it

I was at the Intercontinental Hotel before the last game against the Pies (ANZ) and we found that the entire club/players stay there every game. My girlfriend and I stood out the back on Macquarie Street wearing our Swans scarves as they all gradually filed out to board the Murrays bus. I gave Pendlebury a bit of stick as he walked out, pointing out that Murray's buses have very low quality tyres and often fall mysteriously flat. He smirked, knowing I was joking, but in my head I was thinking 'hmmmm, but what if?'.

BTW - if you want to give them some stick this Friday, that's where they'll be staying - the Intercontinental. You'll catch them at breakfast too, hopefully staring forlornly at their porridge as they contemplate the smashing they got the night before.

Now that's when we should do an Adelaide and get our cheer squad serenading them, over Saturday morning breakfast! If all goes according to plan for us on Friday night that is.

Look what happened to Adelaide when they did that. So don't think we'll be taking our chances on that one.

Have just dropped into a ticketed office in Sydney, the game is a sellout.

            I'm on the couch.

They do a damn good breakfast too, the Intercontinental. That buffet is superb.

They boarded the bus to go to ANZ earlier in the year at around 4:45pm - a white Murray's bus with blacked out windows. If you wanted to hover around, 4:15 would be my bet, Macquarie Street.

EDIT: After what happened to Adelaide when their members tried the same thing on us, I'll be avoiding the Intercontinental on this occasion, unless you simply want to stickybeak and not sledge.

Bronze and silver are sold out. It says silver has limited capacity, but when you try to purchase even 1, you can't. You can't buy blocks of 8 Gold anywhere other than the upper level Eastern side.

                    No it isn't.

You may have just come across an unhelpful staff member as I did.

Nah let's ignore them - Friday night is about us. Collingwood are only bit players in this - it's our time......

I'd suggest trying again later today or tomorrow.

Have you tried online, as it lists only Silver as limited in Swans area.

Collingwood area on line is filling up real quick though. Maybe the person at Ticketek was accidentally putting u in Pies area.

Yep - I tried online, it says limited availability but you can't buy one. I have tickets anyway - I was just checking it out.
