Does that mean if he plays a bad game you will give him a right old grilling.
Nah, I'm confident he'll be in mint condition next year. He just needs to rack up the kilometres in training and I'm sure he'll be sweet.

It's looking very likely that GWS will have picks 1, 2, 4, 12 and 13 this year.
They might well be able play an entire team of first round draft picks. Some questioned their strategy last year, but it's looking very cleaver indeed. I would not be in the least surprised if they win a Premiership before the decade is out.
I also think this is a very positive thing for the Swans and the AFL in general if there are 2 top teams in Sydney. Having a plethora of quality players at our opposing Sydney team is not all that bad from a trade point of view either. Certainly there will be a number of high quality players at GWS that want out, but won't have to leave home.
It's only early on in the trade period, but every team is looking very sharp in their trading strategies. I think our success at trading has caught the attention of other teams and the gap has closed. We will have to be sharper than ever to keep our edge.
As to maintaining our edge, does anyone think we have a couple of 'moles' with Tadgh on the International front and Micky O' with his various jobs working with young players? One would think they could be feeding back some info on a few hidden gems.
