I haven't noticed him nearly getting knocked over, but it is good to see all the support staff just as excited as the players.

I see. Does this mean that the hot day was spent on the couch watching the game again? Hmm? And I wasn't the only one?
If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhood

There was another moment, when Mal kicked the last goal the celebration of the players was incredible and watching it on TV the reaction all over Australia, especially Darling Harbour and the G was wonderful.

I was at Darling Harbour. I jumped up and hugged the guy next to me, then I hugged my wife....Then I just kept saying, "We've won it, we've won it!!!!!"

Must admit I have watched the GF DVD several times plus downloaded various audios including Roy & HG GF, the ABC local radio GF, and the ABC radio GF Sunday Inquisition before and after. Just want to be able to see/hear it again whenever in the future.

Anyhow on my personal post celebration moment. Ten minutes into the last quarter, from our seats at the Punt Road end where Hawthorn was spending too much time, my 11 year old had a brave face but some tears of disappointment trickling down as potential loss looked possible. Twenty minutes later he was as happy as he could be notwithstanding the salt tracks on each side of his face. We will share that fantastic win by the mighty Sydney side forever.

Been listening to the SEN call of the Grand Final and early in the 2nd qtr I rather enjoyed Huddo mentioning one of their sponsors and then throwing to Robert Walls for a special comment.

Yep, been back for a couple of weeks which has severely impacted on my Season 2012 recapathon... Having an iPad and an hour each way to work is helping with this though.

Been some great quotes in all the different calls.

I've now listened to six full different calls and it's pretty amazing how some things are missed or just plainly wrong by some of the call teams.

One of my favourite calls was Rex Hunt when Hanners took 'that mark' in the first quarter "Hannebery gets up and must think he's the mayor of Hiroshima 'What the heck was that???'" (Cleaned up nicely by Rex for Kevin Bloody Wilson fans).

I'm now listening to 3 weeks worth of the 'Sunday Inquisition' with Gerard W and Stan Alves as well as other footy talk shows I downloaded from the ABC. Some of the talk early in September gave the Swans no chance and it's interesting to hear it all, now knowing how it unfolded. For example, the show leading into week 1 of the finals where Sydney were virtually written off after being dismantled by Geelong in Rd 23 and Geelong being over the line against Freo for exactly the same reason.

It's all on the iPhone and makes for great listening stuck in traffic to and from work...

What radio station did Rex call on?? It's one I haven't listened to yet.

Croc media/AFL live. He called with Sandy Roberts and special comments from Shane Crawford, who when listening after the event knowing the outcome and without the tension was actually quite funny as he rode the highs and lows of the Hawks fluctuations. I'm not sure if he would have been quite as funny at the time (or if we lost). Rex made him pay as well...lol

It's easily the most enjoyable call to listen to.

I've got SEN, ABC774, 3AW, NIRS, Croc Media and MMM (I think that's all them, they're not on the phone anymore)...

Geez you'd reckon the boss would have given you 6 months off. Is it hard balancing the ipad on the steering wheel?

Did you find a full ABC call of the game BBB? I could only find the highlights package.
