Nick Darcy failing miserably at the Olympics was a favourite of mine, but I sense there were a few equally satisfying moments...

        3. The whole Swans team on the dias flashing their medals under the red and white confetti as the mighty Swans song pumps out around the stadium.
        4. Josh Kennedy hugging his famous Hawk grandfather post siren?
        5. Luke Hodge's classy speech (had to put him in.....I admit I like him and I wish he was a Swan). His comment "not only are you well respected but you're well liked" was big coming from a losing captain who must have been gutted.
        6. The Reid & Shaw brothers sharing the moment on the boundary line.
        7. Horse getting his medal on the dias.
        8. The Swans leaving the ground, entering the rooms and singing the song.
        9. AJ shouting "wooooooooo babaaaaaaaaaay" upon getting his medal.
        10. The Swans team celebrating with fans around the boundary sharing the cup.
        11. ROK being the first Swan winning a Norm Smith medal and his speech?
        12. Teddy Richards holding Dan Hannebery back from running to the podium during Jarrad McVeigh's speech? (Apparently Hanners told Ted that he was going to be first up to the cup...after Macca & Horse!) If you watch closely you see Hanner's head under the cup while Horse and Macca are still holding it when the players run up!
        13. Nick Davis standing in the centre of the ground and clapping like a seal staring and grinning towards an on-coming running John Longmire.
        14. Mitch Morton's frank interview on ground post siren?
        15. Mike Pyke hugging Steve Taubert after the final siren?
        16. Ryce Shaw getting his medal after being much maligned ever since his last GF appearance as a Pie?
Excellent list. I'd add "17. Mummy's appearance at Lakeside Oval the morning after"

Re: Your favourite Swans post-celebration moment!

To top off a wonderful few months of celebrations I spent an hour with the Premiership Cup on Saturday morning while it was at the Dapto Show.

Had a terrific chat with the Swans guy in charge of the cup reliving that great day and just generally discussing what a wonderful club we have. And of course touching and holding that wonderful piece of silverware as much as possible. Just icing on the cake.

Great pics Al. Did you find a place for the cup in your memorabilia room at home?

Thanks mate... Let's just say I was reluctant to leave.

One of my mates asked with the Roosy pose did I say "Here it is". It's what I should I said but all I did say "@@@@, this is heavy" Glad it was Roosy up there in 05 and not a wordsmith like me.

If he doesn't I am sure something can be arranged-maybe ask Teddy to pass them on to him, I am sure our Ted would not use them to tease and mock at all
